| Okay that was mean. So many unresolved issues. Poor Buffy, poor Spike. This was an excellent chapter. Very moving. I can't wait to see how everything resolves. Will Spike take that leap of faith yet or not? And it sounds like Xander has some grovelling to do to make up to Anya, that is if he can. |

Very nice chapter. Good to see Buffy finally make the point that Spike must risk a little bit of himself if he hopes to find out if Buffy is telling the truth. Also, interesting role reversal with Anya and Xander...I hope it keeps up, and I hope that BOTH of them learn a lesson. While it's easy to see that Xander would learn one, I think Anya can learn one too...
Just a suggestion for a subplot with that, you could do it that at some point, Xander askes a question or two to Spike or another demon that embrasses Anya,and she snaps at him. At which point, both realize what the other one went through: Xander by his attitude, and Anya by not realizing that there is a difference between being frank and being just glaringly abrasive. Just a suggestion, but one that would be very, very interesting for both to see the other side.
We really do have alot of role reversals in this fic: Buffy is now the lover wanting a crumb, while Spike is the one distancing himself to protect his hear; Xander is the trailer that is treated badly and ignored while Anya is thrust into the protector/master role of the relationship. All we need now is for Tara to suggest using a spell on Willow that Willow is scared about and Tara getting mad and desperate. That's not to say I want that to happen, jsut saying what could happen.
Oh...and what will happen when Buffy meets the first woman to crush Wlliam's heart? I sense some angst and anger. Also, a chance for her to earn some of Spike's trust by beating Hallie up. |

| Good chapter. I think that Spike has to give Buffy a crumb. I understand the hurt she caused him but they can't move forward if he doesn't give her a chance. |
