| Okay, I was wrong, she didn’t just let him leave, but she did stay back enough to watch his back without him knowing it just like he had done for her time and again. I like that Buffy had realized that although Spike had really loved no one has ever really loved him and how deserving he is of it, and I am glad that she has earned from him the choice of him giving her a chance or not and that he decided to do so. |

YAY! I'm so happy (no matter what these tears are trying to tell you) and I am really happy about the pair of them. *Both* have been incredibly courageous do this. Although I have seen what a bloody bitch Buffy can be, and I am not justifying her in the least; she hasn't had the greatest experience with the men she loves either. Her Dad leaves and rejects any and all responsiblity and contact with her, Angel turns evil and leaves, Parker (well, 'nuff said), Riley cheats on her with Vampire hookers and then leaves, and (although she realizes that it was completely her fault and was incredibly cruel for this to happen) it must have felt as though Spike had left her there for a bit. So I am really glad for both of them, and I hope that they will both get the happiness that it is about time that they get (wow confusing sentence). Anywayzz, great chapter |

Beautifully written, and once agian I sense the rollreversal from what you normally see in a Spuffy fic, with Spike trying to win Buffy. Very, very well done. |

So sad.....
I'm still scared for him. Even if things go well for a while, he's still not going to be the same Spike for a while. He was too broken down. Too exposed. |
