I think you did a great job of capturing how Xander's mind worked and the emotions involved. Buffy, Willow and Giles really did give Xander's life a purpose. It gave him a direction. With Buffy gone, and Giles so wounded, he would be quite lost. Heading to the next chapter that I see is here too. Thanks! Yeah Xander, esp young Xander, doesn't cope well in a crisis and when you take away all of his security blankets (Buffy, Giles etc) he is definitely a little lost.
