| I wonder if Giles just doesn't realize what the heck they will feel if they claim each other and how the marriage claim things really works - or if he is lying to his slayer (or himself) intriguing start to the ficcie! |
| Well the claim is really not much more than a commitment... but one that is quite binding, especially to Spike with his ingrained Victorian values! Everyone writes a claim differently (and as it is a made up thing and has no basis in canon that's fair enough) and I don't tend to go for it manipulating their feelings in anyway... I prefer their feelings to be their own, otherwise they don't really mean that much. |

| great story! Its nice to see how you are bringing in the Ripper's past as well as meeting the requirements for the challenge (ie. claiming and baby). I am dying to know what big bad is coming in addition to Acatha! Please update soon! |

Thank you! I am glad you liked it... yes poor Joyce did fine up to a point and then it all just got to be a litle too much. lol. She'll be fine, though.

| Can we volunteer to be the bearer of Spike's baby 'cause...hello! I'll be first in line!!! Hehe, had to write that one down...no way was I gonna stay quiet....GREAT STORY!!! You know I can't wait to read what's next, especially the claiming/mating ritual....naked Spike....could never get enough of him! And I like the plot set in S2...although Buffy's in love with Angel at the time.... What she saw in him, I'll never understand...especially with S2 Spike in the picture....GROWL!!! |

| Another great response to Challenge 64. This is really making me itch to get my Challenge 64 story up. Thankfully my ideas and timelines are still safe from any form of likeness. {Smiles} The two stories that are started are great, but I have read them just to make sure that the ideas I have aren't just going to be repeats of what you two have. If we had the same ideas, I just wouldn't write my story.
