Powerful first chapter - I can't wait to see what kind of vampire Buffy will make - keeping her soul but being subject to Angelus will be harsh on her I am sure. Great start - I can't wait to read the rest!

Great chapter, and I'm so sad to see Chris get dusted...liked him. And can I say....WOOHOO on that Angelus death scene....hot damn, if anyone deserved to get nailed through the neck w/that nail gun, it's him. Poor Spikey, wanted to cry when I read that about him, but Buffy got the jackass in the end. Loved it, and I'm glad that Xander didn't give her a hard time...can't wait for the final chapter...gonna miss this story.

I was following this story on vampires-kiss.net but I was so excited when I found a more recent update on this site. I really like this story. It's very unique to me and very well written.

I think it was a great chapter. I like this story. You've had me on the edge of my seat many times throughout the course of it. I think that similarities are bound to happen, especially with the friendships that are forged between some of the writers. Heck we do all get similar or seemingly same ideas at times, but that doesn't mean we are copying each other. You have your own twist of words, and I say that you shouldn't ever have to worry about other people's story ideas. You have a great creative mind. People should remember that and just realize that similar ideas pop up. Look forward to the next update.

Great update!!! Like the forced comraderie and the hilarious chat w/Alexa, Willow, and Cordy about minions. Seems Giles hasn't changed, but maybe Joyce will have a hand at helping. Loving the chapter and story. Can't wait for more!!!

Hot damn, I loved that update!!! It's nice to see the Scoobies' POVs and find out their reactions to everything. Oh the ending....poor Spikey....I felt for him with the Dru question. (and I couldn't help but laugh at what Cordy told him....love the look, but that was Classic Queen C) Oh the cliffy....I'm gonna be hoping for more soon.

Well that was a good... almost happy chapter. I like the accepting Scoobies and the not such a prat Giles. Nice change. I hope Xander will be ok. I really do like Cordy and Xander together in this.

Amazing chapter but you're EVIL leaving it that way!! C'mon, hurry and update again ASAP!! Anyways, this chapter was awesome, did I mention that? I loved the reunion with the Scoobies and I especially liked the part with Oz and Spike. I've always believed those two would get along well. Hmmm...wonder how you'll have Xander take the news about Buffy and Spike being together. Hopefully his new more grown-up outlook will help him see past his hatred of the undead. CANNOT WAIT for the next chapter.

Okay now that was an evil cliffhanger of cliffhangers. Who screamed outside ... hope that was Spike's minions doing the crossbow firing and not something heading inside to Buffy. You handled all of the character's emotions and characterizations very well. I enjoyed the chapter. Nice tie ins all around. Look forward to the next update.

I have been reading this fic all night, I absolutely love it so far, well except for most ot the stuff with Angelus. I am not really into the gore I suppose. I love how Spike is so sweet with Buffy. I also love the way she stood up for herself with Giles,and that Joyce still loves her. and that she has her soul, you have a great fic here. i cant wait for more! sissy

Excellent writing, Comedy. Loved this chapter update and the others. Good to see Buffy sticking up to Giles. I'm glad that she told Giles her side of the story too. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when Joyce gets Giles into the car. She's going to rip him a new one. Look forward to the next update.

I am glad that finally Giles got a taste of the new Buffy and can see where her loyalty lie. And I am glad that Joyce seems to be in her corner. And how great was it to see the rest of the new Spike/Buffy family taking part even from a distance. Love the update.

That was EVIL leaving it like that!!! > But still an awesome chapter. It figures Giles would assume the worst. I mean he admits that Angelus had to have forced her into killing that child and yet he's still prepared to stake her just because he thinks she should have left him to die at another's hands so that her's stayed clean. He knows how cruel Angelus is and that he would have made sure that little boy died slowly and painfully. He really needs a wake up call here!! I can't wait for the next fic, I LOVE IT!!

Loved it!! Nice to see the other characters highlight some sections...makes them become a real part of the story...and I just adore Alexa...so sweet of her to help Buffy 'entertain' Spike...hot damn! Oh, the Spuffy was really cute, and I love how domesticated they are already... Nice to know some stuff about Angelus' whereabouts and what he's doing...gets them prepared for the foreheaded git...hehe... Oh man, was wondering about that tape, and now I know....can't believe Giles would actually think that Buffy would willingly kill a child while souled...he really doesn't know her, does he? Cliffy...oh what a cliffy....can't wait for the next one!!

I was afraid that Giles wouldn't understand. Of course Angelus didn't show the whole rest of it where he killed all the rest, and Buffy was saving the child from a longer and more painful death. {Sighs} Sucks that you are going away and we won't get an update until your back. I so want to see Angelus get his just deserves. I hope that Buffy can convince Giles of what really happened.

Very very pleased with this story. Very entertaining and not too long. Nice to show the tender side of Spike. I also like how you had Joyce get vengeful. Altogether well written.
