"Spike?"

"Yeah?" Spike mumbled sleepily.

"Sorry about Angel being here."

He rolled over and smiled at her. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I had an excellent day. You told both Soldier Boy and the Poof that you love me and I am in bed with my gorgeous and naked girlfriend who just had sex with me several times. Now, you should get some rest. We're going to have to make breakfast for all of our guests tomorrow." Spike suddenly realized that he had said the wrong thing. Buffy's eyes became really wide and she began biting her lip. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"I don't have any breakfast food," she said, "I think we only have one box of cereal."

"Why not?"

"We don't have enough money to get any more than that."

Spike sighed. "I never want you to say those words again," he said fiercely. He got up and began to get dressed.

"Where are you going?" she asked, "All the stores are closed."

He smiled weakly. "You know," he said, "Wal-mart's open 24/7." With that, he left. Buffy burrowed under the covers and tried to get comfortable. She suddenly realized how much she had gotten used to having him there. Eventually, she fell into a light sleep.

Buffy awoke. She knew with certainty that there was someone else in the room. She realized after a moment that it was Spike. She heard him stripping off his clothing. He swiftly slid under the covers with her.

"Miss me?" he murmured.

"Of course." Buffy gasped as he began to rub her clit.

"How about you show me how much you missed me? Only, no screaming. It wouldn't do for you to wake up the entire household, would it?" Spike said in a soft, lust filled voice. In response, she gripped his cock in her and began to pump his length. He moaned. She smiled. She loved the effect that she had on him.

After several minutes, he slid all the way into her and began a fast and hard rythem. In a quick and precise movement, she flipped them so that she was on top. Spike had no objections. Although he had forfeited control, the sight of his girl riding him with such wild abandon was one he wouldn't miss for anything. He loved the way her hair and breasts bounced and she moved up and down. When her walls began fluttering with the beginning of her orgasm, Spike covered her mouth as a precaution. She moaned loudly into his hand as she came. After he had spurted the last of his seed into her, she slumped on his chest. He rolled the so that they both lay on their sides. She snuggled into his chest and he held her tightly.

"Night, love," he said.

"'Night."

Spike and Buffy were the first ones up in the morning. Spike made pancakes while Buffy did the only food related thing she could do competently: make coffee.

"I didn't know you could cook," she said.

"Making pancakes isn't that hard, pet."

"Can you make anything else?"

"Of course!" he said, "It's a good thing too, since you can't cook at all."

"Hey," she said, "I could cook if I wanted to!"

"No. You couldn't, but I don't care," he said with a grin, "I love you anyway." Buffy opened her mouth to protest and he silenced her with a kiss. Willow walked into the kitchen. Buffy and Spike sprang apart like two guilty teenagers. She grinned. Then gasped.

"Spike can cook!!??....Yes!" Willow said, "Now we don't have to have pizza or pbjs every night."

Spike smirked at Buffy. She gave him a playful wack on the arm. "Ooooo...pancakes!" Cordelia said.

As everyone else began to file into the kitchen, Buffy turned to Spike and said, "Could you be a good host and not kill the company while I go to visit Dawn?"

"You're wish is my command," he said with a bow.

"Could....Could I go see Dawn, too?" Willow asked timidly. She was staring a the floor guiltily.

Buffy bit her lip. Reluctantly, she said,"Okay."

"What's wrong with Dawn?" Cordelia asked, whipping around, "I haven't seen her. I really missed Dawny in L.A. She always had much better fashion sense that you."

Buffy grinned weakly. "She's in a coma." Spike slipped his arm around her waist.

"I want to come see her too!" Cordelia said.

"I would also like to accompany you," Wesley said, "Conner could come along as well." Conner shrugged.

"Well.." Buffy said, "I guess we can go as soon as we eat breakfast."

While the others finished eating, Spike pulled her aside. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply. Buffy clung tightly to him. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

Buffy looked up at him. "Promise me you'll never leave me."

"I never will," he said.

When they entered Dawn's room, Tara was sitting by her bed. She stood up nervously. "Sorry," she stuttered, "I just wanted to see Dawn."

"You have every right to see her," Buffy said.

"She's beautiful," Conner exclaimed, "Uh...I mean...er...I'm going to go get a snack." He slipped out of the room.

"I need to talk to you about something later," Tara said, "It's important."

"Okay."

As soon as Buffy shut the door, Angel whirled around to face Spike. "What kind of spell do you have her under?" he demanded.

"You think that I would do that?" Spike said, "You are more of a lying, sneaking, coward than I am."

"I've changed. I'm seeking redemption."

"Yeah," Spike said "So am I"

"No, you're not. You're just trying to get into a girl's pants," Angel said.

Fred had been watching this exchange. Now she decided to step in. "You're both acting like teenagers. You're fighting over a girl."

"No, we're not," Spike said happily, "Because she's mine. There's nothing to fight about."

With a loud growl, Angel launched himself at Spike. Spike allowed him to get in one good shot and then he jammed his finger into one of the pressure points along Angel's arm and kneed him between the legs. Angel slipped to the ground obviously in pain. Spike simply walked into the kitchen to get some ice for his rapidly swelling eye.

"It was self defense," Spike said, "He attacked me."

"Angel," Buffy said, "You're a guest here. Don't attack my boyfriend again." Then she turned to Spike and grabbed his hand. They walked upstairs. "Stop pretending you really got hurt," she muttered, "Knowing you, he is in a lot more pain."

"Yeah, but are you really sorry for him."

"Does this answer your question," she said. She kissed him.

"I believe that it does, pet," he said, "I believe it does.”
