For those of you who are as spoiler-whorish as I am, I am posting complete summaries of what I know about the episodes. I'm making these into links so that those who do not want to be spoiled that much can just pass them by.

a lower-case "h."
And FYI - the "Musical" promos last night were actually from footage
I'm shooting for an "inhouse" documentary of the making of the musical.

Ooh, okay, I'm very excited because though I'm a spoiler ho of long standing,
I just got my first ever insider-y, from-the-set spoiler, which I will now spill
with no restraint whatsoever!
So. My source (I feel like Woodward already. Or perhaps Bernstein. One of those
guys.) was on the set for the filming of some scenes at the Bronze.
She...er*cough* they rather, this could totally be a man or a woman, yeah. Shush
you!
They witnessed a scene involving Willow and...wait for it...Amy! Yes, Amy! And
not in a little cage either! Human! And...oy, I'm hyperventilating a bit. Okay.
Better. (How do you regular spoiler provider people do this?) Okay.
So, Amy and Willow are hanging out at the Bronze, chit-chatting about current
events, and two guys come up and ask them to dance. Amy asks if Willow is up
for it, and Willow says nah, and Amy snaps her fingers and says something to
the effect of "How about someone more your style.", and a person described
as a very, very attractive woman comes from the bar. My source...hey, should
this source have a secret code name? Mysterioso X? Dark Sheep? Hm. Maybe leave
that stuff to the AICN folks....anyway, my source says that the implication
they got from the scene was that Amy cast some spell on the woman, who had up
till then just been sitting at the bar.
So, this attractive woman goes and introduces herself to Willow, who supposedly
babbles cutely under these attentions but eventually turns her down, and Amy
seemingly lets her out of the spell and goes off alone to dance with the guys.
A little later, Amy is back sitting with Willow, and the guys come back, but
this time they're sort of nasty and grabby on Amy, and Willow objects, and they
say something unkind to her ("Back off Ellen" I believe) at which
point I'm given to understand that fairly major bit of a magical slapping down
starts to occur, though of course the magic stuff doesn't happen in this scene,
there are no special effects.
Erm...okay, so my source thinks that this scene is happening in episode 9, though
it may possibly be as early as 8, or as late as 10, they aren't sure. But round
about in there. The band playing at the Bronze was called Virgil, if that helps
nail it down from other sources.
There is no sign of Tara, and no indication that Willow and Amy are anything
but buddies in the scene, so it seems like a separation has indeed happened,
but no worries about a witchy rebound thing happening. My source gave the impression
that overall the scene is funny, but indicative of a lot of very casual magic
use without regard for the feelings of other people or secrecy. No one seemed
to be dying of cancer, for what that's worth.
Hopefully someone else will get corroborating info to place exactly when this
is all happening. Whew. I think I'm going to leave this spoiler stuff to the
usual suspects from now on. Thanks Dark Mysterioso Deep Sheep Spoiler X! (too

Since moving to UPN, Buffy the Vampire Slayer has pulled out all the stops to
start viewers palpitating — and the best may be yet to come. Executive
producer Marti Noxon tells TV Guide Online that the series soon will get an
infusion of fresh blood.
For starters, former General Hospital ingenue Amber Tamblyn guest-stars in the
Oct. 30 installment as Janice, a saucy classmate of the Slayer's kid sister,
Dawn. "The episode revolves around Dawn and Janice and the misadventure
that they get into," Noxon reveals. "It's a Buffy Halloween extravaganza!"
Given that Noxon and co. plan to expand Dawn's circle of friends, Tamblyn's
stint may well extend beyond the haunted holiday season. Exploring Dawn's world,
says Noxon, "gives us an opportunity to do some of the stuff that we didn't
get to with Sarah Michelle Gellar when Buffy was in high school."
Next up, Broadway biggie Hinton Battle — a Tony winner for Sophisticated
Ladies and The Tap Dance — has been drafted to appear in the eagerly anticipated
all-musical Buffy (airing Nov. 6). "He's playing a demon," Noxon confides.
Finally, years after her cheerleading enchantress character was turned into
a rodent, Elizabeth Anne Allen is being given some more face time. "Amy
the rat is coming back," Noxon admits, "as a person."
Alas, other former favorites are less likely to drop in. Now that Buffy again
has a pulse, a visit with the heartthrob who always made it race — Riley
— is a no-brainer. However, sighs Noxon, "that's a big, big maybe.
It depends on if Marc Blucas is available. He's turning into a big, fancy movie
guy.
"Between him and Seth Green [who played Willow's beau, Oz], we're stuck,"
she adds. "And forget about Eliza Dushku [aka rogue Slayer Faith] —
we can't get her back."

Wanda replies: Okay, here's a Dawn goodie. Little sister's going to dabble on
the Slayer side during the Halloween episode. She's getting very own Angel,
and he's just as lip-smacking as the first. Kavan Reece will play Justin, a
very handsome guy who takes Dawn out on a double date, along with her friend,
and Dawn's friend Janice (played by General Hospital's Amber Tamblyn). The boys
turn out to be vampires, and it's looking like Janice isn't long for this world…
wendygurlie asks: On Buffy, how does the date end? Will Justin be back? Does
Dawn like him?
Wanda replies: She actually really digs Justin -- he's very sweet to her, extremely
protective. Once she realizes her boy's a little sharp-toothed (when he goes
in for a smooch and turns vampy), Dawn manages to run away, but she's still
a little conflicted about her feelings for him. Justin comes back for her while
she's sleeping, wanting to turn her. Then, as he leans down and goes in for
her neck, she dusts him with a stake.
bffyfan152 asks: What's up with Buffy getting so dark and violent? Those first
two episodes seemed to adult for the 8:00 hour, don't you think?
Wanda replies: New network, new rules. UPN is letting Joss do all the things
the teen-friendly WB had red-lighted— a little more violence and gore,
and a lot more nookie for Willow and Tara.

Hey peeps. Just finished cutting the musical and it's... well, it's a musical.
Straight up, old school. So yet another childhood dream realized, never thought
it would happen. I think you're gonna be psyched and I may be desperately wrong
but the brass at UPN (ALL HAIL UPN!) have given me extra time to run the show!
This means: A) I failed to bring it in on time, operative word FAILED, but B)
Dean Valentine and his crew are letting the show run long ( by about eight minutes!)
because they are cool! (see above re: all hail them). So the musical extravaganza
will run slightly longer than a normal ep, which means more for you, the viewer!
Of course, if you hate it, it just means your torment will be prolonged, but
I'm banking on the other reaction. (me hopes)
In the meanwhile, how cute is Amy Acker? Angel swinging with five count 'em
five luminous stars, life don't suck.
I'm me. really.

General info:
-There's a scene where Dawn is lying in bed and Willow opens her door to come
wake her up.
-Also, Willow standing in front of a desk with papers, and Willow sitting in
front of a rat cage.
-Amy has officially been de-ratted. She's sitting on the bed (almost exactly
like 'Something Blue') looking really scared and frightened.
Spike stuff:
-Spike walks out of an alley and looks onto a Sunnydale street (in front of
'Sun Cinema') and looks at all the people walking through the town... he spots
a girl walking into the alley. She's walking down the alley, and he jumps in
front of her. She kind of walks the other way and he jumps in front of her again.
Very cat-and-mouse like. He paces in front of her, talking to her for a minute
(very Season 2... looks hungry), then lunges in to bite her. He then jumps back
in pain from the chip. She takes the chance to run away.

they are all waving their arms from left to right, as if to say goodbye. The

The musical promo promises quite a bit for Spike fans. He clearly gets the
rock star treatment as evidenced by the clip of his scene singing in the cemetery.
We also get to see for the first time in a promo a hint of an impending Spike/Buffy
romance, as he pulls her towards him. Strangely, the other scene from the musical
that interests me is Xander's and Anya's pajama dance, which looks like quite
a bit of fun.
Wanda's chat transcript reveals tidbits about Episode 6. Unfortunately, these
tidbits contradict Gracie's summary of the script. Gracie's summary indicates
that Dawn dusts Justin at the make-out place. Wanda claims that Justin comes
to Dawn later, and she dusts him with a stake. One could have an early version
of the script, of course. We will find out the answer to this on Monday morning
when the wildfeed is posted.
You may notice slight errors in my summary of Episode 5, Life Serial. I compiled
the summary using mainly casting sides from an August 21 version of the script.
I noticed that parts were substantially rewritten. In the final product, Buffy
never makes it into class with Tara, and the construction workers don't sexually
harass her. Also, the scene between Spike and Buffy at the end was softened.
In the original version, Spike seemed slightly more pathetic, and Buffy seemed
more harsh. The final result is softer on them both.
Hugin provided us with some wonderful spoilage about what I believe is Episode
9, Killing Chronos. Herc has told us that Willow and Tara break up in Episode
8, and it would make sense then that Amy might try to cheer up Willow with some
enchanted woman. The real question is when does Willow de-rat Amy? I asked Herc
if that was the shocking ending to Episode 8 that he alluded to on 10-14, but
he indicated it was not. Sweetie's spoilers show us signs of Amy's de-ratting,
but we do not know for what episode these scenes were filmed.
Finally, I must disagree with my fellow Spoiler Analyst Tensai about the timing
of Sweetie's spoilers about Spike attacking a woman. Because he seems not to
know that the chip will stop him from feeding, I must characterize this scene
as being part of the amnesia spell that Herc tells us is part of Episode 8.
At
this time, I'm not ready to open a spoiler summary for Episode 9, but I probably
will next week. Also by next week I hope to have a summary of the Musical.
