okay warren and andrew are walking supposedly on a campus ( i think a college one). Warren stops and Andrew turns around.

Warren: HEY! I told you....I can't take coporeal form. (He opens his flannel for Andrew to "touch" him. ) "Go on."
(Andrew reaches out to Warren. FX his hand goes right thru Warren.)
Warren: I'm like Obi-Wan.
Andrew: ( I couldnt hear him, Tom talks low).
Warren: I need you man. you're like...my Iron Fist.
Andrew: I can't do it. I can't kill another person. (heres the kicker... we believe Andrew KILLED Jonathan! Basically cuz of this next shot)
Warren sighs. Morphs into Jonathan.
Jonathan: Oh not THAT again!!
Andrew: (mutters something I couldn't make out)
Jonathan: This is the best thing that could of happened to me!
Andrew: Again something unintelligent.
Jonathan: no it was kinda strange (Referring to his death I believe).

Today the crew at Buffy studios in Santa Monica were putting up Christmas decorations on the streets of Sunnydale in the backlot area (near the Sun Cinema). There are tree shaped decorations up on each of the buildings, high enough you can see them from Olympic Blvd. There's also lights and greens being strung up along the street. They're probably filming 9 now so it's possible that's a holiday episode or perhaps they're setting up early for episode 10.

From bloodandbliss: Oh, Great Queen of the Buffy Scoopage, I need some serious Spike info. What say your setside sources?
They say that as of episode 11, there is no Buffy-Spike romance. However, we see Buffy start to care about him again, and she makes that known. The ice is thawing, slowly but surely.

Yesterday I went to an autograph signing in Santa Barbara, Calif. with Emma Caulfield, Elizabeth Anne Allen, and Juliet Landau. They were all very nice and seemed happy to be there. Anyway, when I got my Dru picture signed by Juliet, I noticed her fingernails were painted the same way they were in the photograph. I said something about her nails being the same and she said "Well, I was filming a new Buffy episode yesterday." So, with all the rumors floating around about past villains coming back, at least we can chalk Drusilla up to "confirmed".

From bobknaptor: Lovely and talented Lady Wanda, please tell me about the big brewin' evil on Buffy. What's coming up?
Lovely and kiss-assy bobknaptor, there's a big shock at the end of tomorrow night's episode. I can not spill the beans on this one (it's that good), but I will tell you that it centers on Buffy finding out about Spike siring vamps. By the way, did everyone love last week's episode as much as I did? The show feels right on track again, if you ask moi.

From shaun401: Are the Big Bads on Buffy and Angel related? "From beneath you, it devours" seems pretty much like the big bad on Angel last night.
Ding, ding, ding! And a Kewpie doll for the lady.

From veeveeme: What about Andrew? More killing?
I could kill him myself. I saw the aforementioned Tom Lenk, who plays Andrew, across the room at a very crowded Xbox party last Thursday and spent the entire night searching for him to milk him for info! He's a slippery sucker. But I do know that the plan is for him to do a total of four episodes.

From designguru: Anything on next week's Buffy?
Next week's ep is written by everyone's new fave Drew Goddard--he cowrote last week's "Conversations with Dead People" and the Anya-centric ep. The episode ponders what to do about Spike, and Andrew also reenters the picture.

- More Slayers-In-Training will be arriving in Sunnydale, beyond the initial three. In fact, at least one of the first three might not make it past Episode 10. Apparently there is a run in with an extremely powerful vampire, who kills one of the SIT's (and no, it's not Spike).

- The SIT's don't seem to be up on Slayer mythology. Apparently, for one reason or another, they believe that Buffy is the current Slayer.

- With the absence of Spike, the Scoob's are keeping a close eye on Andrew. (I'm presuming because of his connection with the Big Bad).

- Not everyone in 'Showtime' is what or whom they appear to be.

After a long time without seeing any new Buffy scripts, the Script
Fairies finally came through with the _Sleeper_ script.

A few interesting bits:

- In the script the song is "I'll be Seeing You."
- Buffy loses Spike because a cop decides to give her a
jaywalking ticket.
- Morphy is identified as THE FIRST in the script.

Join me in the Crypt of Decryption:

I've been on hiatus because of personal reasons for the past two months. The children are okay, in case anyone is worried. I will, however, take any and all suggestions for how to get my son to sleep more than two hours in a row at night.

As we head into the last episode of sweeps, the spoilers are few and far between, but that is in large part because they are filming episode 11 now and showing episode 9 on Tuesday. We were similarly spoiler-light this same time last season for the same reasons.

So what do we know of the upcoming episodes?

In episode 9, Spike and Andrew are held by the Scoobies in Buffy's house. We know that Andrew sees apparitions of Warren and Jonathan (likely the First Evil, which has the ability to shapeshift). The promo for the episode suggests that Spike is going through withdrawal from blood and that he attacks Andrew.

What's interesting is that someone with the script of episode 8 reports that the song that triggered Spike to kill was originally scripted to be "I'll Be Seeing You." However, in the final version of the episode, the song is "Early One Morning," which includes the lines "Oh, don't deceive me, Oh, never leave me." The title of episode 9 is "Never Leave Me"; perhaps the point of the title has less to do with the content of the phrase and more to do with the song as trigger. Do the Scoobies figure out in episode 9 that the song triggers Spike to kill?

Another possibility: if the writer intended the song to be "I'll be Seeing You," then does that refer back to this famous exchange in Fool for Love:

SPIKE
I know I'm a bad poet but I'm a good man and all I ask is that... that you try to see me-
CECILY
I do see you. That's the problem. You're nothing to me, William. You're beneath me.

In episode 9, will Buffy finally "see" Spike, see that he is a good man? I've seen a change in Buffy's attitude towards Spike from episode 6 onward. In episode 6 (Him), she definitely seemed concerned for his feelings in a way she never had been before. In episode 7, she acknowledges that he did love her, and she appears upset when Holden (my new all-time favorite one-off Buffy character ever) tells her that Spike sired him. And in episode 8, Buffy is visibly concerned about Spike's involvement in the murders and resists having to stake him. And then she offers to help him. Is she finally ready to acknowledge the importance of his quest for a soul?

We know even less about episodes 10 and 11. There's a general feeling on the net that Spike does not appear much in these episodes; there is a report that he is missing and the Scoobies are trying to find him. We do know, however, that Juliet Landau appears in episode 10 or 11, which strongly suggests screen time for Spike.

I am very much hoping that the report of Christmas decorations on the set means we will get one more episode before the end of the year. The date of the report fits with filming for episode 10, for which we do not have an air date yet. Perhaps December 17?

Don't forget to check out Leoff's wildfeed summary for episode 9 tomorrow morning!
