A new video from the set of The Grudge has turned up online. Filming took place at various locations in Tokyo and at Toho Studios. You can watch the almost 8-minute clip in Windows Media format at the following link. The video also includes footage from the original film this is based on, the Japanese horror pic Ju-On.

Scooby Stars Hold Out

Linda Cardellini and Matthew Lillard, two of the stars of the upcoming sequel film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, have already signed to reprise their roles in a possible third film, but co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and her real-life husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., have not, producer Charles Roven told SCI FI Wire. Cardellini (Velma) and Lillard (Shaggy) are "enthusiastic" about the franchise, but Gellar (Daphne) and Prinze (Fred) are more "cautious" about committing too far in advance, Roven said in an interview while promoting Scooby 2.

WB President, Jordan Levin has found himself constantly defending his decision since announcing that the network giant was axing Angel from its schedule. Under a huge amount of pressure from fans and the media, Levin said, “We have a lot of veteran shows that are aging, and we're going to have to make room for new programs."

James Marsters has been confirmed to be attending the 2004 convention in Melbourne, Australia. It will be held at the Crown Promenade on Satuday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th of July. I encourage Australian residents to get the bums down to Melbourne for it. I myself will be going, if i can get enough money.

Ghost of the Robert Concert Date in Europe. May 11th

Ghost Of The Robot will be making their Dutch debut when they return to Europe in May. They have just announced a concert date at the famous Melkweg venue in Amsterdam.
The concert on Tuesday, May 11 has no age restriction and tickets are available through from the Melkweg box office, additional ticket outlets in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and online at Ticket Service (https://tickets.lvp.nl/en/index.htm) and Uitlijn (http://www.uitlijn.nl/).

Whedon vs The WB

Fans of Angel are still wondering why the WB chose to axe one of it's most successful shows at a time it is losing the battle for ratings. The official line is that the cost of making the show far outweighs any gain by the giant network but many refuse to believe this. There certainly is no love lost between the Buffy and Angel creator, Joss Whedon and the WB network after the two came to blows after Buffy the Vampire Slayer was axed from the network after five seasons.
