"Ooh, Angel… yesssssss... Oh God, Oh God… OHHHHH!"

Angel grunted and slammed desperately against his wife, buried deep within her warmth, seeking the powerful release that could only come when he was with her. His hands were positioned alongside her shoulders, bracing himself above her as their lower bodies crashed together. As his climax grew closer, his thrusts came faster and harder, which made Buffy forget all about her deliberate movements and writhe beneath him on the bed.

He looked down at her and couldn't help but be overwhelmed at her beauty. He had no doubt that in fifty years, he would enjoy looking at Buffy just as much, if not more, than he did now. Dipping his head down, Angel captured her lips in a carnal kiss as one of his hands snaked between them. He found her tender nubbin, distended and incredibly sensitive, and gently massaged it. Buffy broke the kiss as she gasped for air, her body shaking as waves of pleasure crashed through her.

Angel couldn't hold off his own orgasm any longer and let himself go, spilling his seed deep inside her womb. He collapsed on top of her, but almost immediately had the presence of mind to roll over so as not to crush her, pulling his petite wife with him.

It took several moments before either caught their breath, both too exerted from their... exercise… for the past forty-five minutes. It had been over two months since their return from Hawaii, and two weeks since Buffy's cycle had ended. Being two go-getters, they hadn't slacked in their attempts to make a baby since then.

"That was incredible."

"I can't think of a better way to wake up than that," Angel agreed.

Slowly moving her hand down his chest to his groin, Buffy asked, "Jacob's not up yet."

Reluctantly, he covered her hand with his own, halting her movement. "I can't... I need to be at the gallery by nine."

"Oh come on, you can be a little late. It's not like my mom will fire you."

"What am I supposed to say? 'Sorry I'm late, I was busy having sex with your daughter.' I'm sure that will go over real well."

"Honey, I'm pretty sure my mom knows we have sex," Buffy giggled, "Besides, she wants me to be *happy*."

Angel shot her a look before sliding out of bed and walking to the bathroom. Buffy watched him go, grinning at his nice, tight butt.

"Hey, can we shower together?"

Angel rushed into the art gallery at ten after nine, his hair still wet and his clothes hastily thrown on. Luckily ninety percent of his wardrobe was black, so matching wasn't an issue.

Seeing his mother-in-law perusing a clipboard next to the front desk, he gave her a nervous smile.

"Hi Joyce, sorry I'm late... I overslept."

She looked up and casually gave him a smile. "Good morning, Angel… don't worry about it."

As she went back to her work, Angel frowned. She didn't even care?

"Tell me the truth, Luv. Are you two delving into the fun world of aphrodisiacs?" Spike asked as he walked out of the basement.

Buffy looked up at him, "What?"

"Let me remind you," he replied, then said in a high pitched voice, "Oh Angel! Yes, yes, yes! You are a God!"

Buffy blushed furiously and busied herself by feeding Jacob a spoonful of cream of wheat, "You heard?"

"Baby, half of Sunnydale heard."

"Why weren't you sleeping?!"

"I came in at sunrise… you know I have to wind down for a few hours. I was *trying* to sleep when you two started going at it. Again. I swear you've become nymphomaniacs."

"Spike, we're married and we love each other," Buffy said, leaving off the fact that they also were trying to get pregnant. Truth be told, they wanted a baby, but they were really just having a great time. Besides, they'd decided not to tell everyone they were trying, since when they did get pregnant, they wanted to keep it to themselves for the first trimester. After what had happened the last time, they'd learned it was better that way.

"It's still disgusting," Spike muttered before grabbing a box of Wheatabix and heading back towards the basement.

"Sleep well!" Buffy called after him, then smiled as she scooped the last of Jacob's breakfast out of the bowl. "Here we go, Big Boy."

Jacob swallowed the spoonful of food and immediately began trying to get out of the chair. Deciding she might as well let him burn some energy, since getting him dressed at this point would just be a big battle, Buffy made herself a bowl of cereal and pulled Jacob out of the high chair before carrying him into the office and setting him on the floor.

Since she got online on a daily basis, Buffy kept toys in the room to entertain Jacob. As he played, she turned the computer on and waited while it connected to the internet. Despite the fact that they weren't exactly worrying about getting pregnant, she had the idea to do a little research so maybe they could get some tips on conceiving. So as she ate her breakfast, she read up on the wonderful world of baby-making.

As she was rinsing out her cereal bowl, the phone rang and Buffy grabbed the extension on the wall. "Hello?"

"Hi Honey," Angel greeted on the other end.

"Hey Baby, were you late?"

"A little, but your mom hardly seemed to even notice."

Buffy smirked, "See, and you thought she was going to eviscerate you or something!"

"Buffy, there is nothing wrong with being a conscientious employee. Being late is irresponsible."

Rolling her eyes, she sighed and said, "Yeah, I already heard that speech *Dad*!"

"Oh shut up," Angel yelled jokingly.

"You remembered not to say anything to Mom about me not going back to school, right?"

He sighed, "I told you that I won't lie to her, but it didn't come up. Buffy, are you *ashamed* that you're taking a break from college?"

"No, I told you, I want to be able to be here with my son while he is still a baby. I just don't know if she will understand that since she worked even when I was a baby," Buffy replied, "Besides, you know, she'll probably blame you."

"Me?!"

"Yes, she'll think you pressured me to quit school."

Angel frowned, "No she won't."

"Well, you want to find out? Tell her and see what she says."

"Buffy, you're going to have to tell her someday. It's only a matter of time before she asks you about school. Besides, I think she'll get suspicious if you never get a degree."

"Just let me do this my way, okay?" she said.

"Fine, fine... I'd better get back to work. I just wanted to check in with you."

"Okay," she smiled. "I love you. Have a good day."

"I love you too. Have a good day with Jacob," Angel replied before hanging up the phone.

Buffy did the same before turning around and finding Jacob still playing happily. "Hey Sweetie! Wanna go get dressed?"

Jacob shook his head and frowned adorably.

Buffy had to fight the urge to give him his way, but Angel was right. If she let Jacob do whatever he pleased, she'd have a demon child on her hands.

"Come on," she said, bending down and lifting him in her arms. Jacob immediately began to squirm, but calmed when she handed him one of his trucks.

Twenty minutes later, she had a fully dressed child that was now placated with his Boo Bear. Half the mission was complete! Unfortunately, getting herself showered and dressed while keeping Jacob out of trouble was often much harder.

She carried her son into her bathroom and set him on the floor. After making sure there was enough toys to keep the baby happy for a while, she kissed him on the top of the head and got in the shower, making a point to peer through the glass at him often.

Just over half an hour later, she was all ready. As she picked Jacob up and carried him down the stairs, Buffy recalled how long it used to take her to get ready. Less than three years earlier, she took two hours to get ready before leaving for school. All she really had to worry about, with the exception of evil stuff, was herself.

It was funny how you much you were forced to change when you had a child… but she knew without a doubt that she wouldn't give up being a mother for anything.

"Ookie!" Jacob shrieked, pointing his finger at the packages of Oreo's.

"Yes, cookies! And good ones too. You are so smart," Buffy said, kissing him on his forehead before grabbing a package off the shelf and setting it in the back of the cart.

Unlike most babies, Jacob liked grocery shopping. He enjoyed the bright boxes and cans and having Buffy push him in the cart... but most of all, Jacob loved food. Buffy had decided she should be careful or else he'd end up being a little roly-poly.

"Ookie," he whimpered, trying to turn around to reach for the cookies, but hindered by the seatbelt.

Buffy reached in her purse and pulled a Nilla Wafer out of a plastic bag. "Here, have one of these."

They went through the next few aisles relatively quickly, as Buffy grabbed items from her list and Jacob nibbled on his cookie. She was putting some bananas in a plastic bag when her mother walked up to the cart and grinned at her grandson.

"There's my Jacob!"

"Gamma," the baby grinned.

Buffy turned and smiled at Joyce, "Hi Mom."

"Hello Sweetheart, how are you guys doing?"

"We're just fine. It's only two o'clock, what are you doing here?"

"I felt like an afternoon off," Joyce explained, "And then I was thinking maybe we could all have dinner tonight? It's been a while since we all got together… I think the last time was Toby's birthday and that was over three months ago."

"Actually, it was the Fourth of July… I'll never forget Giles' incessant dissing of us Americans."

Joyce smiled, "I consider it one of his charms."

"You're really twisted," Buffy teased, mock disgust on her face.

"Indulge me?"

"Sure, dinner sounds great," her daughter agreed.

"Gamma?" Jacob held half a soggy cookie up to Joyce.

"Oh, thank you Jacob, but you can have it," his grandmother smiled, "I'd better go pick up the ingredients for dinner. Do you think Spike will want to come?"

"Depends, what are you making?"

"I was thinking I'd set out beans and chicken and all that other stuff and we could make our own fajitas."

Buffy smiled, "Spike loves Mexican food."

"Wonderful… so I will see you and your boys at six? Or is that too early for Spike?"

"It'll be fine. He can hide under a blanket."

"All right, bye Honey," Joyce said, kissing her daughter on the cheek.

"Bye Mom, Jake say bye to Grandma."

"Bye bye!" Jacob said, waving his little hand.

Joyce couldn't help but grin at him again before heading down an aisle to do her own shopping. Despite the fact that she had her own darling two-year-old son, her grandson held a very special place in her heart.

"Why does *he* have to come?"

"Because Mom invited him."

"Yeah, you bloody arse! Why do *you* have to come?"

"Because Buffy is my wife and Joyce is my mother-in-law. I *belong* there!"

"You're my sire, I'm a relative too."

"Oh please, I'm not even a vampire anymore! Are you going to throw that in my face for the rest of my life?"

"Would you two shut up?!" Buffy interrupted, her voice angry, but low so as not to frighten Jacob.

"Sorry," both males replied quietly.

"Look, this isn't a big deal. We can all enjoy tonight if you would just not be determined to fight. I have seen it happen… sometimes you two are focused on something and you forget that you hate each other and actually act *polite*! I would appreciate a little bit more of that."

"Buffy," Spike prompted, getting her to turn around and look at him in the backseat, "anything for you, Baby."

Buffy smiled and turned back around. In the driver's seat, Angel grumbled under his breath, but behaved himself.

At long last, they pulled up in front of Buffy's former home. Spike covered himself with his blanket and opened his door before rushing to the front door of the home, eager to get away from the setting sun. Buffy and Angel soon followed, the former lugging Jacob's 'equipment' and the latter bringing Jacob himself.

Joyce opened the door and grinned at her guests. "Come in!"

Spike rushed past her and threw the blanket off himself, taking an unneeded sigh of relief. "'Ello, Joyce."

"Hi, Spike," she replied, taking his blanket and folding it. "Wow, this is very nice and soft."

"Buffy bought it for me," he informed her.

Angel rolled his eyes again, deciding that he couldn't do *exactly* what Buffy wanted, but he'd try to hold his tongue at least. Hopefully Spike would go on one of his trips soon. "Hi Joyce."

"Hi, Angel," she smiled then pulled her grandson into her arms. "Hello Jacob, how is my favorite grandchild?"

"He's your *only* grandchild," Buffy reminded her, setting down Jacob's stuff in the living room before sharing a private smile with Angel.

Joyce chose to ignore that little comment from her daughter and instead prattled on to her grandson before carrying him off to play with Toby.

The three remaining adults went and sat on the couch, with Buffy in the middle to act as referee, of course. Luckily, the males didn't have a chance to resume their verbal sparring before Giles came in with appetizers, effectively distracting them.

Twenty minutes later, they were all seated at the table and everyone, even the two toddlers, was behaving. Buffy was pleased; it was very rare that they could have a meal together without something going wrong. She reached under the table and took her husband's hand, giving it a squeeze. Angel turned his head and the couple exchanged smiles that promised so much later that night.

"Buffy, I keep forgetting to ask," Joyce said, "What classes are you taking this semester?"

All the color drained from her daughter's face, but before she could answer, Spike piped in.

"She's not taking any classes, didn't you know?"

Angel had to stop himself from grinning. He hadn't liked the fact that Buffy was keeping it a secret that she was taking the semester off… but Spike was really going to get it!

"You're not going to school?" Giles asked, surprised.

Buffy sighed and shook her head, "I decided not to go back."

Her mother frowned, "But why? Honey, you were doing so well. Your SAT scores-"

"It's not what I want," she explained, "I just feel that I want to be home with my family more. Jacob will only be a baby once, and he is my focus right now, not school. I know that it's harder to go back later, but I feel it is more important for me to be with him while he is young and to finish my education later."

Angel squeezed her hand and gave Buffy a supportive smile, proud of how well she had explained herself.

Joyce nodded, "I can understand that. I won't lie… I know that you are a very bright girl and I want you to be all that you can and get your education. And I do worry that there will always be something stopping you from going back to school… but on the other hand, there were many times with both you and Toby that I wondered if I really wanted to leave you to go to work, so I know how you feel. Plus, I know that Angel will support any decision you make, so if you change your mind… you two will work something out."

Buffy was surprised that her mother approved, but broke into a wide grin. "Thank you… your approval means a lot to me."

"Don't worry… I trust your judgement… you're doing just fine."

Spike made a face, disgusted by the mushy turn their meal had taken. "Bloody Hell, this is worse than an episode of Oprah."

Both women gave him admonishing looks before everyone returned to their meals, with everything settled once again.

"You're sure that this was your decision and yours alone, right?" Joyce asked her daughter later that evening as they drank coffee at the dining room table while the men watched television in the living room and kept an eye on the boys. "I know that Angel isn't the controlling type… and you're not the type to be controlled, anyway. But I know that when you are married, you sometimes make compromises, and that is fine, but I don't want you compromising yourself."

"I promise you, I'm not. *I* brought it up and had to convince Angel it was what I wanted."

"Okay," her mother smiled and patted her hand affectionately.

"Mommy potty!" Toby announced, running up to them.

"Okay, let's go potty," Joyce said, getting up and walking into the bathroom with her son.

Jacob had followed Toby in from the living room and trailed behind them, standing in the doorway and watching with fascination as Toby used his potty seat. Joyce smiled as she noticed Jacob's interest. It appeared Buffy was about to need all the free time she could get.

Once she returned to the dining room with both boys in tow, Joyce sat down and announced, "I think Jacob is about ready to potty train."

"Really?" Buffy asked, pleasantly surprised. If she could get him trained now, she wouldn't end up having two kids in diapers.

"Yeah, he was definitely intrigued by Toby's potty seat."

"Well, he wants to mimic everything Toby does."

Joyce smiled, "How often do you have to change his diaper?"

"Only about every three hours or so."

"I think he is ready, then."

"Great!" Buffy grinned, "I'll do some research on the internet, get him his own potty chair, and Jacob won't will be using the potty in no time."

"Oh, that is so cute!"

"What?"

"You think it's going to be easy!" Joyce laughed.

Buffy rolled her eyes. How hard could it be?

"Mmmm… that was nice," Angel sighed as he and Buffy lay entwined on their bed, later that night.

"Very very nice," she murmured, placing a kiss on his chest.

"You know I want a baby… but I have to say it will almost be a shame when you get pregnant, because I am having so much fun with the trying."

Buffy grinned, "Well, we can't have you forgetting how to do it?"

"You think I'll forget?" he asked, his eyebrow quirked.

She grinned mischievously, "I wouldn't dare risk it."

Playfully, Angel rolled on top of her, pulling her wrists over her head and held them in place with one of his large hands before dipping his head to kiss her passionately. "Baby, I could never forget this."

"You're no fun… what's our excuse supposed to be?"

"We're married, we don't need an excuse."

Buffy giggled, then suddenly remembered she wanted to tell Angel something. "I did some research this morning and they said a man's testosterone levels are higher in the morning, so I'll stand a better chance if we make love before we get up again."

"I think I can make that happen," he replied.

She moaned and wiggled on the bed as Angel moved his mouth down to the tender flesh of her neck. She vaguely remembered that she had planned to tell him that it was time to potty train Jacob, but as soon as he started working his magic on her body, all cognitive thought flew out the window.

There was always tomorrow....

The End
