"What? What's wrong?" Angel asked bounding down the stairs.

"Something bit Logan." She said hastily turning from the bedroom and back to her daughter on the couch. "Angel get Anthony out of there." She lifted her daughter and carried her to the bathroom. Rinsing the blood away from Logan's neck she examined the wound more closely. Logan whimpered at her touch and Buffy pulled her into her arms kissing her cheek. "Shhh, It's okay babygirl. Daddy will take care of the monsters."

"Buffy, I think I found what did it!" Angel said calmly from the other room. "Put Logan in our bedroom and come out here."

Buffy did as Angel said and returned to the living room. "What..." She gasped when she saw Anthony. The boy was held tightly in Angel's arms reaching for a toy Angel held in the other hand. His face was that of a vampire. "Oh my god!" She whispered looking at the child from a distance. "But how?"

"I think it would be wise to call his mother." Angel said giving Anthony the toy and setting him down on the floor. "Is Logan alright?"

"She's in the room. Will you put a bandaid on her and see if she'll lay down for you?" Angel nodded and went to the bedroom as Buffy picked up the phone.

"So you knew about this?" Buffy asked Marietta.

"Yeah," Marietta said quietly, "He's done it since he was born. His father was a vampire."

"Has this ever happened before when he's played with other children?"

"No this is the first time. Your daughter must of done something to provoke him."

"I'm not sure what happened between them. All I know is that he bit her and you're going to have to find away to stop this from happening. This is dangerous for him to be around other children. You have to explain to him."

"I will. I promise." She looked down at her son. "We need to go now." She said quickly as she stood up.

"It's not your problem, Buffy." Angel said after Marietta had left. "He's not your child, don't worry about it."

"But I do!" She cried. "He bit my daughter."

"Shhh," Angel soothed taking her into his arms. "She's okay now so let's not worry about it." Buffy nodded against his chest and let him rock her as she drifted off.

"Are they okay?" Cordelia whispered coming down the last few stairs. Angel nodded as he rubbed Buffy's back soothingly. "But I think Logan just lost a playmate."

"That doesn't matter," Cordelia said. "As long as everything is alright now."

"Yeah." Angel replied. Cordelia returned to the office as Angel carried Buffy back to the bedroom. Laying her down on the bed he climbed in next to her and watched the two girls in his life sleep peacefully.
