"Hey, Angel, come on sweetie, please?" Buffy begged her boyfriend.

"I know that you can wait, so soon, okay?"

"No! Now! Come on, I really have to pee!"

Angel opened the door, stepped out, and motioned a 'after you' motion. He had shaving cream on one side of his face and was grinning.

"Thanks," she huffed as she hurriedly stepped in.

"You're welcome," he said sweetly.

He walked into their bedroom, sat down om the bed, and looked at some magazines. He was looking at a very interesting article when a bounce on the bed brought him back into reality. Buffy had jumped on the bed.

"Better?" he asked.

"Oh yes, me and my bladder than you," she said bowing down before him.

"Well, then, I'll finish and then we'll head out?" he said, the last part actually more of a question.

"Yeah, but I still need to shower."

"Okay, well, while I finish, pick out your clothes," Angel told her, knowing that it would take some time just to find the 'right outfit'. He stepped into the bathroom and came out a few minutes later to see Buffy smiling sweetly at him.

"What?" he asked cautiously.

"Nothing, just that I love you," she said.

"What do you want?" he asked, again cautiously.

"Nothing, what, I can't tell my boyfriend that I love him?" she asked innocently.

"Oh, well, in that case, I love you too."

Buffy walked into the bathroom to take her shower. Angel got dressed and walked downstairs. He and Buffy were going to watch Oz and Willow's little girl, Grace. She was about a year old, and the cutest thing. She had bright red hair with blue eyes. She had the pale skin that reminded Angel of the Irish, but for some reason, neither parents had an Irish background. Buffy came downstairs about twenty minutes later.

"Ready?" she asked.

"Yeah, let's go."

While they were walking over Buffy was talking to Angel about the project she had done for school in her junior year.

"You mean the egg thing?" he asked.

"Yeah, well I decided that maybe I'm not the *best* parent."

"Why do you say that?" he wanted to know.

"Because I kinda killed my child," she shrugged.

"Oh, well, that's only because it tried to kill you," he assured.

"Yeah, but the whole act... and I killed my gigapet!"

"Still not in the whole 22nd century," he told her.

"It's like a digital pet, you feed it, and clean up after it, and play with it, like a pet. Only digital."

"Oh, well Buffy I think that you'll do better with our future kids."

"You want kids?" she asked.

He shrugged, "Well, I guess. I mean I never thought that I'd ever have kids so..."

"You'd make a good father," she told him.

"And you'd make a good mommy, I know it," he smiled.

The two arrived at the Osbourne's house about five minutes later. Buffy knocked with the brass knocker. Willow opened the door, Grace on her hip.

"Oh, hey you guys, come in," she opened the door wider. "Grace look, it's Aunt Buffy and Uncle Angel!" she pointed to the couple.

"Hey, Will," Angel said with a hug for her. "How are you?"

"Good, thanks, and you?"

"Just fine."

Buffy took the child from Will and starting talking to her. Grace took one look at Buffy and began screaming.

At Buffy's surprised look Willow said, "She know that when you guys or any other aunts or uncles come over, that we're goling some where."

"Oz! Come on, let's go before it gets worse!" she screamed up the stairs. "And thanks again you guys, we just needed one day. Okay, she had food in the fridge, all you have to do is heat it up. Now a couple seconds should be good, after all you don't want it too hot. She also has a bottle in the fridge, he toys are all over. Grace woke up a little early this morning so you could put her down in about, oh, a couple hours. She usually has lunch right after her nap. In case all else fails, there are tapes in the cabinet, she'll watch those for a long time. Okay, bye, thanks again!" Will said as she and Oz left through the front foor.

"Oh, Well, uh..." Buffy said not knowing what to do with the screaming infant.

Angel took her, and bounced her up and down. Toys were scatted all over the Osbourne's house so he grabbed up and held it in front of her to draw her attention away. She took notice for about a minute then went back to screaming.

For the next hour Buffy and Angel held different toys out for her. The longest toy she played with was one of those machines where you hit a button and some cartoon character pops up. She loved that. Buffy would keep pushing the character in it's spot and Grace could not figure out how to pop it up.

After that hour, Buffy sniffed the air. "Hey, Angel, I think our little friend here needs a diaper change. What do you think?"

"Yeah, want me to do it?" he offered.

"Sure, thanks."

He picked up the girl and took her upstairs to her room, where a changing table was. He talked to her as he changed her, just when he was about done she began to get fussy. He picked her up and was about to head back downstairs, but Buffy was coming up the stairs.

"Hey, just checking on ya," she told him as they headed back downstairs.

"Oh, we're just fine, aren't we?" he asked Grace.

She smiled, and began wiggling in his arms. He set her down and she toddled around the room, picking up a toy every now and then. Buffy and Angel sat down on the couch and watched their niece. She stopped to look at them every now and then, checking to see if they were still looking at her. Their niece began running around the room, Angel and Buffy at her heals. She giggled when they would miss her by just a bit.

Buffy collasped on the couch, breathing heavily. "There's my workout for the day," she told Angel after he joined her.

When Grace got bored, she looked at the TV. Some show was on, reviewing the top 100 rock songs of the century. They showed the video that went with the song or just played the song with the artists pictures flashing by. When Beatles 'Hard Day's Night' came on Grace began bobbing her head. Buffy laughed at this, this small girl 'dancing' to Beatles.

Buffy got up off the couch and took Grace's little hand and danced to the music. Grace was giggling the whole time. Angel was just laughing at the site before him. Buffy actually seemed to be enjoying this dance. He got up and danced with her and Grace. When the song ended, Buffy picked the child up and lifted her high in the air.

Grace laughed and began squirming again. She wanted to be on the ground, walking with every body else.

"Okay, okay," Buffy muttered as she set the girl on the floor. Angel leaned over and kissed Buffy.

"What was that for?" she asked.

"For your great dance skills," he smiled.

"Oh, well if that's what I get for dancing like that..."

"Yeah, yeah," he smirked.

When Angel looked around, he saw Grace climbing up the couch that he and Buffy had been sitting on. She looked at the expenctantly. they both just shrugged and sat on the couch with her. After watching another Beatles song and a song and then a song by The Door's, they saw Grace yawning.

"I'm gonna take her upstairs," Buffy told her boyfriend.

She picked Grace up and walked into the kitchen. Will had told her before that Grace like a bottle when she goes down for a nap. Sure enough, there was a bottle, half filled, in the fridge. Buffy grabbed it and took the yawning baby upstairs with her.

In Grace's room there was a rocking chair. Buffy sat on it and rocked the girl to sleep. About five minutes after she was in her niece's room, Angel slowly opened the door. He watched her rock Grace to sleep, her eyes closed also. When she finally opened her eyes, she gasped. The asleep girl shifted positions after Buffy placed her in her crib.

"What were you doing?" Buffy asked Angel after they were downstairs.

"Looking at you," he stated simply.

"Oh? Any particualr reason?" she asked eyebrows raised.

"No, not particularly," and he just left it like that.

About two hours later Buffy and Angel were interrupted from their make out session by a loud cry from the baby moniter.

"Guess who's up?" Angel asked.

"Let's see... could it be that little girl who we are watching today?"

"Probably, I'll go get her?" he asked.

"Okey dokey."

When Angel opened Grace's door he saw he standing in her crib. Her tears dried up after seeing Angel. She held out her hands as he stepped in front of her. He picked her up, then walked downstairs.

"Look who's up!" he said when they reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Hi, Grace!" Buffy said.

Angel started to put her down, put when her feet hit the floor she began bawling.

"What's wrong?" he asked her.

"She probably just wants to be held for now, you hungry?"

"Me?" he asked pointing to himself.

"No, the ex-vamp behind you," she said sarcastically. "Yeah you."

"I could eat."

"Okay, well what do we have?" Buffy asked herself as she opened some of the cabinets.

She grabbed some fruit and turkey breast from the fridge. Above the fridge was where her best friend kept the bread. She made Angel and herself a sandwich. When Angel sat down on the table, Grace sat on his lap. She reaxched out to grab the sandwich.

"Oh, you're hungry, I suppose."

"Lemme heat up your meal," Buffy told the girl.

While Angel and Buffy ate their meal, Grace ate hers from her high chair. Buffy stuck a Barney tape in the VCR for her to watch as she ate. When all three of them were done, Buffy took Grace out of her high chair and put her down.

She walked to the TV and finished watching Barney as Buffy and Angel cleaned off the table and stuck the dishes in the dishwasher.

The video finished and Angel found some legos that were upstairs. The three of them played with the legos, Angel and Buffy building something, then Grace knocking in down in a fit of laughter.

They were on their seventh building when the door opened. Grace got up and ran to Oz. He picked her up and kissed her hair.

"Hey, guys," Will said when she walked in.

"Hey Will."

"How was was," Oz asked the couple.

"Great," they replied.

"Oh, thanks again, we owe you guys big time," Will said.

"Come on, quality time with my niece is always great," Buffy told them.

"Well, if you want to stay over for a little while longer..." Willow offered.

"Nah, we should get home, but thanks," Angel said.

"Okay, well, have a safe ride home. Say bye Gracie!" Oz said picking up one of his daughter's hand and waving bye.

"Bye," she said.

"Bye, Gracie."

"Bye, sweetie."

Later at the house, Buffy and Angel were eating dinner.

"Well, that was fun," Buffy commented.

"Yeah, we'll have to do it again," Angel grinned.

"Though I forgot what babysitting can do to an already tired person," she said as she yawned.

"Call it an early night?" Angel asked her.

"Yeah."

And after dinner they went upstairs to watch the sunset.

"Angel?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you really think that we'll make good parents someday?"

"Yeah, I do, Buffy, I do."
