Angel had just finished cleaning up his office, for the third time, when
he
heard the door open in the outer office.
"Willow!" Cordelia cried and enveloped her in a bear hug.
Angel walked out into the main office and blinked at the sight before him.
Willow had changed from the shy, fuzzy hacker he'd known, into a beautiful,
confident young woman. Gone were the pink sweaters and overalls, she now
wore a tight, tiny little tank top and a pair of very short shorts. It
was
then Willow noticed him, turning from Cordelia to hug him with a force
he
didn't know she had.
"Angel, it's so good to see you! Wow, still into black I see?" She teased,
throwing him a brilliant smile and a wink before turning back to Cordelia,
"So, what have you got planned for us?"
"I thought you said you needed help with something?" Angel asked, still
slightly stunned by the change in Willow's wardrobe and attitude.
Willow sighed, "Yeah, but that can wait until tomorrow, it's not going
away
anytime soon. What I want to do now, is hit the malls, there are some
things you just can't get in Sunnyhell!"

"So, Wills, what's with the attitude adjustment? Not that I'm complaining
or anything, but it's kinda sudden, don't you think?" Cordelia asked as
they sat at a little table by a drink stand, they had just finished two
hours of shopping for clothes and accessories.
"I'm not sure, the closer to LA I got, the more confidence I gained. I'm
not complaining either because, you know, I've never been very confident
in
myself." Willow sipped her iced mocha thoughtfully.
"Well, now you've got lots, I saw how you flirted with Angel today!"
Cordelia grinned.
Willow smirked, "Yeah, that was fun. Just seeing the look on his face..."
"Changing the subject, you think you've got enough clothes? I mean, you
bought a whole new wardrobe, where'd you get so much money, girl?"
"Well, I've always had it. My parents opened an account for me, complete
with fifty grand. I call it guilt money, for not 'being there' as I grew
up." Willow rolled her eyes, "But, how can I complain? I mean, why not
take
full advantage of their guilt and buy myself some awesome stuff?"
Cordelia raised a brow. This was not the Willow she had known before.
*She's changed a lot, but is it really that bad? She has confidence now,
something she's never had much of before and it's obviously doing some
good..* She was interrupted by Willow's voice.
"Hello? Earth to Cordy...are you in there?"
She blinked, "Sorry, drifted out. I haven't done this much shopping since
my parents lost their money."
"Well, it was for a good cause, the 'Help Willow's Wardrobe' shopathon,"
Willow laughed.
Cordelia grinned, "Well, I can't wait to show Angel what I got, and what
you got. I wonder how he'll react to the nightwear?"
Willow thought hard, "Positively I hope."
They looked at each other and started laughing, they both knew Angel would
react better than positively.
