Archivist's Note
I must admit that as I proceed with this endeavor, I find it more and more difficult to strictly adhere to a time line. I keep uncovering pieces of stories which need to told out of sequence, simply because they contain a story within a story and the inner story occurred at an earlier date but needs to be told so that you can better understand what is yet to come.
It seems that Grandma Willow was correct in her assumption that she would be too involved in many of the events to actually have the time or the emotional distance to retell the tales, in full, from her own point of view. All she did was leave her notes and to these she would attach the notes of everyone involved in the event. This is were I got most of my source data for the majority of the third party stories you will find in this archive. Whenever possible, I have asked some of the actual participants to review what I've written, but there aren't many of them left, aside from the immortals, and even their numbers have dwindled in recent years, ever since the last Slayer and her Watcher were called.
Oh, and won't you all be surprised when you discover just who that Slayer/Watcher team is, or more accurately, how they came to be. You'll just have to wait patiently until I get to those secrets.
