time to get her parents together.

                Part 1

"Do you think that she will be able to do it?" The seemingly young girl asked
her companion. Both were in a large room, looking into a stone pool set into
the floor. They sat comfortably on cushions at the pool's edge. The room
overlooked the ocean, and was actually made into the cliff.

"Of course, ashke." The man replied. He looked up into eyes that were so like
his own. "I will be there to help her out, despite the fact it will be my old
self. You will be there also."

"Ares and Gabrielle are at ends, though. It has only been several months
since Gabrielle and Xena came back to the land of the living." She mused.
"But as you say, there was already something between them. A chemistry."

He nodded slowly, his lips curling up into a grin as he swept his fingertips
across the water. A figure with red hair looked up, as if looking around for
the source of the sensation that came over her. The small waves broke
eventually broke up the image. They stood up in unison, he moved behind her
and they began. Light and energy was woven between their hands. The girl
disappeared with a flash of silver light.

                ~*~*~*~

Willow looked up searching for the source of the sudden unnamable feeling
that came over her. She looked around wildly as the wind started to move
around her faster and faster. With a sudden whoosh, a portal appeared before
the Immortal. Brilliant silver, green, and blue light danced along it. Willow
was entranced by the sight, she never noticed that tendrils of energy snaked
from the vortex pulling at her. By the time she realized what was happening
it was too late, and she was pulled in. Light pulsed around her, entwining
with the cacophony of sound. A second later she fell out of the portal,
landing on the ground, and knocked unconscious.

Willow's eyes opened, two faces swam above her in the bright light. She
immediately closed her eyes and then slowly opened them again, letting her
eyes become accustomed to the light. Willow put her hands on the ground and
pushed herself so that she was sitting up. Two women stood in front of her.
One was about her height, with short blonde hair, and sparkling green eyes.
She was dressed in a leather halter top with fabric wrapped around her waist
forming shorts. Brown boots completed her outfit. The other was taller, with
dark hair and icy blue eyes dressed all in brown leather. Willow could see
the sword hilt that protruded from over her shoulder.

"How did I get here? Where is here? And who the Hell are you?" Willow
demanded, looking at the two women.

                Part 2

Meanwhile in the Future at the Library

Angel snarled as he strode though the doors leading into the library. "Where
is Willow?" he asked Giles who was behind the counter. Xander and Cordelia
looked up in surprise at Angel's sudden appearance. Angel sharp gaze took in
everything in the room before returning to meet the startled Watcher's look.
He held up Willow's in his hands.

Giles went on the alert, gesturing for Angel to follow him. The vampire was
to worried to sit so he leaned against the table. "What happened?" Giles
                asked without preamble.

< Something's happened to Willow! > Xander thought, he knew instinctively
that something had happened to his best friend. < Cordy had to say that
things were too quiet lately. > Somehow his girlfriend guessed what he was
thinking and glared at him darkly.

"Willow was going to meet me at mansion thirty minutes ago. I started to get
worried when I felt something around her. . . " Angel said at a loss of words
as he tried to explain what he had felt.

"Your bond has grown much if you can feel surroundings." Giles remarked.

Angel ran his hand through his hair and nodded. "Since she brought me back
from hell we've been experimenting with our bond."

"The subject people, get back to it." Cordelia ordered, Xander and Giles
looked at her in shock at her comment. < We've all been through so much
together since the bitch left town, do they not expect me to change because
of that? > "Hey! I care! I just don't show it!"

Angel didn't even notice what Cordelia said, he was thinking about what might
be happening with Willow. < If anyone hurt her. . . > His soul and demon were
in complete agreement on what would happen to whatever was responsible with
Willow's disappearance. "When I back tracked the path that I knew Willow
would take that night I found this." He held up the bag. "I didn't sense any
                blood or scents of fear."

"Was there anything else?" Giles asked when Angel paused looking off into the
                distance.

"There was a feeling of energy, a discharge of energy. It made my hair stand
on end." Angel rubbed his leather clad arms absently. His head snapped toward
the doors as he heard someone approach the library. Everyone caught his
movement and began to straighten out the books on the table. Giles hurriedly
                closed the weapons cabinet.

                Ancient Greece

"My name is Gabrielle, this is Xena." The young blonde said as she gestured
toward herself then to the woman next to her.

"We don't know how you appeared, we found you here lying in this clearing.
We're about two hours walk from Athens." Xena answered the redhead's first
                two questions.

"My name is Willow." She looked at her surroundings and sighed. < Athens!
What the fuck happened! > Suddenly a horrfying thought came to her as she
looked over Xena and Gabrielle's clothing again. < Please, please, please
don't let this be what I think it is. > Willow silently pleaded in her mind.
                < They don't use the same time system, so maybe. . . > "What's the year? I
know that is sounds stupid but I really need to know."

When Xena responded Willow head started to spin, and her gaze became glazed.
< I've somehow traveled back *two thousand * years! Scratch that, I know how
I traveled back in time, it's that portal. Question is who did it, and why? >
Willow dropped her hand in her hands and groaned.

Xena and Gabrielle watched concerned as Willow's eyes turned glassy. "She
must be from somewhere very far from here." Gabrielle remarked quietly to her
                friend before moving forward.

"Hey, it's alright. Can you tell me why your so. . . " Gabrielle asked.

"Pissed off and resigned?" Willow smiled weakly at the beautiful blond.
Gabrielle nodded and placed her hand on Willow's arm. A shock of electricity
raced across their bare skin, it wasn't seen but it felt.

Up in the trees a figure smiled as she looked down at the three gathered
below. < Whoa it was easier than I thought to evade Xena's senses. Huh. Well
I better tell him that everything is going well. So far at least. >

                Part 3

"We can tell you about your friend. Where she is, who uh-hhmm sent her there
and just who the hell we are." The smooth voice belonged to the young man
standing at the library doors. He had curly black hair which framed intense
green eyes and was dressed in black slacks and a tight green knit shirt.
Beside him stood a man with blonde tipped dark hair and dark eyes. Seven
earrings ran up each ear. His black leather jacket and frayed jeans further
enhanced his biker image. Together they made an odd pair.

Giles noted however that the two stood very close. Angel walked straight for
them in a stalk that reminded Giles, Cordelia and Xander of Angelus. < Oh
my.> Giles thought, then said aloud, "Oh please do answer your questions, we
would be delighted to hear you story before Willow's mate makes. . . what is
                the word Xander?"

"I think you want the word mincemeat G-man." Xander answered with a grin.

                "Yes mincemeat out of you."

The two arrivals smiled at each other secretively before the one with green
eyes introduced himself. "My name is Tenshi Menard. It means Angel in
                Japanese."

"You don't look Japanese." Cordelia interrupted as she looked him over.
Tenshi's companion started to growl, then quieted as Tenshi placed his hand
                on his shoulder.

"Names Demon, Tenshi is my boyfriend." With a smile the other man looked at
Tenshi lifting an eyebrow in a silent question. Tenshi just shook his head
                once.

"My sister and our guardian are the people that sent Willow back." Tenshi
explained, as he walked further into the library with Demon. // I wonder how
Sean is doing. // he sent to Demon through their bond.

// Sean is most likely having a wonderful time in the past. // Demon quickly
replied, then answered the others questions before they started. "Sean and
Adam are their names. They sent Willow back to the past so she could get her
                parents together."

"You people sent Willow back to the past for a little * matchmaking*?!"
                Xander shouted.

"How far back into the past?" Angel inquired as he slowly made his way around
Demon and Tenshi. <Willow's back in the past. I can not believe this, it's
                too incredible. Why though?>

"Willow Rosenberg is a very special young woman. Her mother is an Immortal by
the name of Gabrielle, her father is Ares the Greek god of war." Tenshi
                answered in an offhand manner.

                Ancient Greece

"What was that?" Gabrielle questioned as she snatched her hand back to rub it
against her shoulder. She looked closely at Willow.

"I-I don't know." Willow whispered as she slowly dropped her hand in to her
lap. < What am I going to do? First I'm sent back by who know what into the
past, then I'm getting shocked by a total stranger. > With that last thought,
she felt a strange tenderness within her. Gabrielle's presence brought a
sense of. . . familiarity to her. "Can you help me? Please?"

"We'll help you anyway we can Willow." Xena said as Gabrielle stood up. "We
should get you outfitted." Xena looked Willow's clothes over with a critical
eye. Willow blushed and stood up on shaky feet. Xena moved forward to help
steady the red head. Gabrielle felt a wave of protectiveness rise in her as
                she saw Willow standing up.

Gabrielle then noticed a money pouch where Willow once sat, she looked at it
curiously before handing it to Willow, "I think this is yours."

"Ahh thanks." Willow took the pouch slightly hesitant as she shook it. Coins
clinked within it. She shook some of the coins into her hand. An quickly
inhaled breath from Gabrielle made Willow glance up then look back at the
gleaming silver and gold coins in her hand. < This must be a lot of money. >

"I think that's enough dinars to last you for quite some time." Xena said,
from the look of shock on Willow's face, Xena could tell that this was
unexpected. She knew that the girl hadn't stolen it just from that look. <
                There's something about her though. . . .>

Gabrielle gulped and smiled brightly, "It looks like we're going shopping!"

The girl laughed silently as she began to speak to her love in the future.
She crouched down on the branch as Gabrielle, Willow, and Xena began to walk
out of the clearing, heading for Athens. When she saw them on the trail, she
began to follow, all the while mentally speaking with her soulmate.

                Part 4

                Sunnydale High Library, 20th century

Cordelia outright fainted, Xander's mouth was almost touching the floor as he
gaped at Tenshi and Demon in disbelief. Giles took of his glasses and began
to furiously clean them with a kerchief. "You are joking right?" Angel
                snarled as he stepped closer.

Tenshi and Demon stood their ground, looking at the angry vampire in the
eyes. "No we're not." Demon said in a low voice. "As for how far back...
2,000 years." Angel just looked at them, then nodded curtly. He would believe
                them... for now.

"Who sent Willow back?" Giles asked as he calmed down. < Willow is the... of
the.... > he shook his head in an attempt to listen to Tenshi and Demon's
                answer.

"My sister Kaisean Menard, and Adam Pierson our guardian. Sean is back in the
past at the moment, she'll tell Willow what she has to do, and help her out.
At the moment though." Tenshi cocked his head to the side as if listening to
                something. "Sean hasn't introduce herself."

"We know that you will want to go back to the past to help your mate, Angel
so we have everything ready. To send you back." Demon said, laughing at the
                stunned look on Angel's face.

<That's just what I was going to ask. Who the hell are these people?> Angel
thought as he stepped back. "When and where is this going to happen?" The
tone of his voice said that they better not be fucking around with him.

"Wait a second. I want to go back too!" Xander shouted, finally retrieving
                himself from his shocked state.

"You can not go back!" Demon shouted at the young man.

                Ancient Greece

"Going shopping? asked Willow. "Why are going shopping?"

"Don't you think you look a little off? I mean everyone is gonna stare at you
like if you had 5 eyes or something." answered Xena while trying to be
polite, looking over the redheads clothing pointedly.

Gabrielle gave her a quick look. Xena has never been good with words, the
warrior princess just shot back an innocent look at her friend.

"What Xena is trying to say, is that what you're wearing is different than
what people here are wearing. Maybe where you live that's the normal clothes
*you* wear. Come on just come shopping with us. I'll take care of you."
Gabrielle said in a placating tone.

Willow took a deep breath. < She is right. I must look like one of them and
understand why and how I'm here. > She smiled at Gabrielle, her green eyes
sparkling. "Alright, I'll go with you."

                "Wonderful."

"See." she whispered teasingly at Xena. "That wasn't too difficult."

"Lets go if we wanna make it before the nightfall."

Willow felt really nervous while they were walking. She finally noticed that
it was Gabrielle who was staring at her, that was making her nervous.

"Is there something wrong Gabrielle?" Willow asked politely.

"Sorry Willow! I.....I just feel like I know you from somewhere. Have you
                ever been to Potedia?

"What? Where is that? Never heard of it."

"It's my village. I was born there. Where are you from? Athens?

"No, I live, really far from here...." Willow grinned, wondering how Xena and
Gabrielle would react if she told them just how far.

"But where? Why aren't you with your parents? Do they know you're here?"

"I....I...no...and...my parents..." Willow stuttered, her face flushing
slightly from the rapid questions Gabrielle was asking.

"Gabrielle! Leave her alone! Cant you see you're bugging her with your
questions?" Xena reprimanded her friend. Willow looked at Xena gratefully.

"Sorry, only wanted to make conversation."

"Maybe we should make camp. I don't think we would not make it before
sunset." Xena thought aloud as she looked up at the sky, judging the amount
                of daylight left.

The girls agreed but Willow wasn't relieved yet. She had a feeling that she
                was in for along night.

The figure up in the trees silently crouched and watched, Xena, Gabrielle,
and Willow set up camp. <Tonight, I'll make my appearance.> Kaisean thought.
