Part 1

Willow sighed. *I'm bored, bored, bored, bored......how bored am
I......boredness...I need something to happen, and soon. Or else I swear
I'll go nuts!* She sat slumped at her desk in the dorm room, fiddling with
her pencil and glaring at her homework assignment. *I wish Spike were
here......at least he was somewhat fun. But noooo, he had to move to LA!*

Someone knocked on her door and Willow jumped up, excited to do something
at last. When she opened the door, she came face to face with Xander. A
smile lit up Willow's face, *Maybe he wants to do something!* "Hey Xand,
come in."

Xander smiled and stepped in, noting the partially finished homework and
tidy room. *Willow must be bored, she never cleans unless she's bored.*
"Want to do something Wills? I have an urge to see LA."

Willow blinked, "LA? Isn't that kinda far for a spur of the moment trip?"

Xander shrugged, "Nah, nowhere's too far for the Xand-man. So, you up for
it?"

She hesitated, there were her classes and all......"Sure. Let me grab some
things ok?"

"Don't bother, we'll do some shopping while we're there. We both need a new
wardrobe." Xander pulled Willow towards the door.

"What's wrong with my wardrobe? Hey! I need my toothbrush and--"

"Nope, you can buy new stuff, just like I said. We're going, now!" Xander
dragged Willow, still protesting, out of the room.

*****

"Are we just going to surprise them?" Willow's eyes widened as Xander
rattled off where they were going to stay, etc.

"Of course, what fun is letting them know we're coming? Sheesh girl!" He
rolled his eyes and pretended to be exasperated.

Willow giggled, "I know! What was I thinking?"

Xander smiled and turned his attention back to the road, "Do you think we
should have told the rest of the gang where we were going?"

"Um, yeah. Oops," Willow sighed with a grin, leaning back in her seat and
stretching, "I wonder if Angel will be glad to see us? Or Cordelia for that
matter, her being your ex and all..."

"No problems there, Wills. She and I made friends a long time ago, just a
little while after she left Sunnydale. We met up when I had travelled all
over the country and was passing through LA on my way home. She talked, I
listened, we made good," Xander nodded, smiling fondly in remembrance.

Willow relaxed, "She really has changed, we're also good friends now. Angel
uses Cordy to type emails back to me and she adds in a few lines for
herself. So, I guess I'm really looking forward to this visit."

"You guess?" Xander cried in mock-outrage, "We have come all this way and
you only *guess* you're excited? What have I done to deserve this?"

Willow laughed at his antics and smacked his arm, "Just drive, man. Just
drive."

*****

"I never really thought it was such a long drive to LA," Willow yawned,
stretching the best she could in the confines of the small car.

Xander smiled softly, "Sleep Wills, I'll wake you when we get there, ok?"

Willow shook her head and put on her resolve face, "No. I will stay up and
keep you company if it kills me."

"Yeah sure, then I'll have to carry you inside once we get there because
you'll be dead to the world, right? Fun, Wills. Do you know how heavy you
really are?"

Willow smacked him on the arm as hard as she could but ruined her outraged
attitude by giggling, "Fine. But you *promise* to wake me when we get
there?"

"Promise, now go to sleep." Xander urged her to lay down by pushing her
head down onto his shoulder.

*****

Xander listened to the contented snore next to his ear and had to smile,
Willow really did need to sleep. His thoughts gradually drifted to L.A.
and, of course, Angel. Xander's stomach did little flips at the name,
unconsciously tightening in anticipation at finally seeing the vampire
again.

It'd been nearly a year since Angel had last visited Sunnydale, and even
then he'd mostly stayed away from the gang, only stopping by to discuss
strategies to kill whatever demon it was they were fighting at the time.
They all seem to blend together once you've killed enough of 'em.

He'd spent most of the research sessions watching the dark-haired god talk
quietly with his former love, his heart twisting whenever she smiled or
laughed at Angel even though he knew that nothing was between them any
longer.

When Angel had left, he'd watched him through the upstairs window, fighting
the impulse to go down there and fuck him senseless right on the front
step. Now, he was on his way to L.A., to see Angel again. Why did that
thought make his palms sweat?

Part 2

"Willow....Willow!" Strong hands violently shook her sleeping form until
she lashed out and grumbled unintelligiblely. A soft laugh from above her
made her open her eyes slowly, focusing on Xander who was leaning over her
with a smile on his face. "Wakey, wakey Wills. We're there."

Yawning, Willow stretched wide, grimacing as her twisted muscles protested
the movement. "How long was I sleeping?"

"About an hour and a half, but my thoughts kept me company."

Willow smiled sheepishly, "Sorry."

"S'okay, you needed that sleep. I shudder to think what you would have been
like without it," Xander shivered dramatically and grinned, "Should we go
up and see the long-lost Scoobies now?"

"Sure, but first, do you have gum? Killing them all with my icky breath is
not exactly on my list of to-do's."

*****

"Willow!" Cordelia screeched as the redhead stepped through the door to
Angel Investigations, quickly enveloping her in a giant bear hug.

Xander came in behind Willow and rolled his eyes, giving a loud sigh, "Gee,
what am I, chopped liver? No one ever appreciates the Xand-Man."

Cordelia let go of Willow and smiled at Xander, "I see you haven't lost
your sense of humor," She leaned over and gave him a hug as well, "I've
missed your quirky jokes while I've been here. Angel isn't exactly Mr.
Chuckles."

Angel appeared in the doorway to his office, a slight smirk on his face,
"Thanks Cord. You sure know how to make a guy feel special."

Xander looked up as Angel spoke, mouth suddenly dry at the sight. Luckily,
Willow gave a loud cry and jumped, literally, on Angel. "It's _so_ good to
see you! How've ya been? Met someone special yet?"

Angel held Willow as if she weighed nothing, smiling down at her excited
face, "It's good to see you guys too, I've been alright and no."

As he lowered her to the ground, Angel's eyes caught Xander's and locked.
Something flickered in the dark, chocolate eyes of the vampire, then
disappeared again. Xander blinked and broke the spell, noticing with relief
that no one else had witnessed that moment. "So, what's been up in the year
we've been out of touch?"

"Well," Cordy took a big breath, "First, right after we came back from
Sunnyhell, there was this mob of Nariye demons...."

*****

An hour and a half later, Cordelia finished her detailed description of the
events of the past year. They'd long since moved into Angel's spacious
apartment. Everyone's eyes, including Angel's, were drooping with the
exception of Cordelia herself. She was bright eyed and keyed up. "So now
what do we do?"

They all groaned. "No more!" Xander cried, "I need sleep! I've been driving
for the past 2 hours or so and haven't slept in about 2 days. Let us rest,
Hyper-Active-Girl."

Cordelia made a face at him and reluctantly got up, "Wills? I'll show you
your room, ok? Xander, Angel can show you yours. I should get going soon
too so you guys can sleep for a bit."

Willow yawned, then shook her head, "I can't believe I slept for an hour on
the way down here am tired again!"

Xander grinned, "Well, if you have the right bedtime story...."

"Shut up! I was not that bad!" Cordelia threw a stuffed pillow at Xander
but he ducked and it hit Angel instead. Willow giggled at the annoyed
expression on his face and the giggle turned into full-fledged laughter as
Cordelia mumbled, "Ass," as she moved past Xander.

When Cordelia and Willow had disappeared down the hallway, Angel faced
Xander. "Well, your room is beside mine. Cordelia insisted Willow have the
'pretty room' so I had to give up." He smiled.

Xander shrugged, trying to act nonchalant, "It's ok, it's not like we share

"We share a bathroom?"

Angel nodded silently.

"What kind of deal is that?" Xander's head was reeling, *Sharing a
bathroom....naked Deadboy....showers...ack! Down boy, down!* "I guess if we
have to, right?"

Relief spread across the vampire's face along with another emotion Xander
couldn't identify, "Just what I said. Come on, I'll show you your room now
so you can get some sleep."

*This is gonna be a long visit.* Xander inwardly moaned.

Part 3

Angel lay staring at the ceiling in his bedroom. He was unable to sleep as
the object of his lust was just beyond the doorway at the other end of the
room. He sighed and rolled over, thinking about it wasn't going to help his
situation any. In fact, it made it worse. Images of a naked Xander lying in
the king-sized spare bed flashed through his consciousness, making Angel
groan in despair.

A noise startled Angel out of his naughty thoughts, making him stop and
listen. When the noise sounded again, Angel realised it was coming from
Xander's room. it was....a whimper?

Angel slid out of bed and crept quietly across his room to the door
seperating his and Xander's rooms. Putting his ear to it, he strained his
ears and heard the whimper again, this time it seemed--urgent. Other sounds
became known to Angel as he listened, the rustle of sheets and harsh
breathing.

*Is Xander having a nightmare?* Angel thought, puzzled slightly. When a low
moan came from beyond the door, Angel blinked. *I'm guessing....not.* A
split second after that thought, images of what Xander was most likely
doing crashed into his mind, making Angel curse silently as his little
soldier stood at attention yet again.

*Can I have no peace? Why must I be tortured like this?* Angel closed his
eyes and tried to get his raging hormones under control. *I am not aroused,
I am not aroused... DAMN IT!*

Stalking back to his bed, Angel flopped down onto it and sighed. *I guess
I'm just gonna have to take care of this myself.*

He let his hand driftdownwards until it gripped his aching shaft. His eyes
closed and he imagined it was Xander's hand stroking him softly, then
harder as Angel's need became stronger. It didn't take long for Angel to
cum, grunting softly as his cold seed landed on his hand and stomach.

Sighing softly, Angel slid out of bed and went into the bathroom to clean
himself up.

*****

Xander lay in bed with his hands folded behind his head, listening to
Angel's movements in the bathroom he had recently vacated. He'd gotten
himself off imagining it was Angel's mouth that enclosed him, not his fist.
*I'm so lame, fanatsizing about someone who barely acknowldges my presence.*

Rolling over, Xander looked blankly out his window into the night. The
stars twinkled brightly, billions of dots against the inky blackness of the
night. But his mind wasn't on the beauty of the view, it was on Angel. *I
wonder if he sleeps in the nude? Does wear boxers, briefs or nothing under
his clothes?* Xander groaned in frustration, *Stop thinking about him and
get some sleep, Harris!*

He deliberately shut his eyes and lay very still, trying to catch the sleep
that evaded him. His ears picked up the sound of Angel walking very softly
back to his bed and the quiet rustle of the sheets as he lay down. Groaning
again, Xander rolled onto his stomach and pulled the pillow over his head.
*This is gonna be a _long_ night.*

Part 4

"How'd you sleep last night, Xan?" Willow asked as they were sitting in
Angel's kitchen eating breakfast, well, more like a late lunch at 3 pm in
the afternoon.

Recalling his X-rated dreams the night before, Xander blushed, shrugged and
stuffed more scrambled eggs in his mouth. Cordelia grinned at Willow and
sat down at the table beside Xander. "We know your little secret, hun."

His head whipped up and his eyes frantically flipped from Willow to
Cordelia and back again. "Excuse me?" He squeaked nervously.

"You have a _major_ crush on Angel. Don't even try to deny it Xan, we know
these things." Willow nodded and took a bite of her toast, her amused eyes
still fixed on Xander.

He sputtered for a minute and then grinned evilly at Willow, "Oh, and like
you don't! You've been drooling for him since high school!" Xander's smile
grew bigger as Willow nearly choked on her food, "Didn't think anyone had
noticed did you? And don't think I don't know about your little thing for
Deadboy Jr too, 'cause I do."

"But I'm not the only one who has a 'thing' for Spike too, am I?" Willow
pierced Xander with her glare.

"Ok, ok kiddies. Enough. Let's not get into a catfight alright? At least,
not while I'm still here, save that for when I go." Cordelia shook her
head, smiling, and got up from the table to put her dishes in the sink.

"You're leaving? To go where?" Willow frowned, "You work for Angel don't
you?"

"Yeah, but I have an audition for a commercial in two hours and I want to
look my best, so I have an appointment in half an hour at the beauty salon.
I better jet now if I want to make it, bye!" Cordy ran out of the kitchen
and they could hear the slam of the front door as she left.

"I hope she gets the part, she'd make a great actress, even if it's only in
a commercial. Today a commercial, tomorrow the big screen! You agree?"
Xander asked, nearly unintelligable as he shovelled the rest of his eggs
into his mouth.

Willow grinned, "Yeah, Xander. And the scary thing is that I understood
every word you said."

"Good late afternoon, " Angel smiled as he walked into the kitchen, deftly
avoiding the rays of sunlight flowing through the open blinds of the
picture window. He shut them and continued over to where Willow and Xander
sat, eating.

"Someone's chipper this morning, er, afternoon," Willow grinned and moved a
chair in between her and Xander for him.

Angel sat, straddling the back of the chair and leaned forward, "I guess I
am. I feel pretty good. How're you guys today? Not still worn out from your

"Nope, pleasantly relaxed and feeling well," Xander leaned back in his
chair and patted his stomach, a small smile on his face. Willow laughed and
got up to clear their plates from the table.

"So, what's on the list for tonight?" Xander asked Angel eagerly.

"Well, since you guys showed up with no warning, there is no list. But," He
continued when Xander made a face, "I was thinking we'd rent some movies
and invite Delia over?"

"Sounds great! How about me and Xand go get the movies after we pick up
groceries? You know, you really should be better prepared for surprise
guests, there's almost nothing in the fridge or cupboards!" Willow scolded
lightly.

Angel sighed and hung his head dramatically, "I fear I have disappointed
you, m'lady. I shall go and do what I have been told I do best; brood in a
dark room. Farewell..." He got out of his chair and shuffled comically to
the door, but not before flashing Willow a sly grin.

"Seriously, where you going Deadboy?" Xander grinned and shook his head.

"To take a shower. Be back in a few ok?" He left after another little grin
at Willow and Xander.

"Weird, weird man he is." Xander kept a straight face while doing his best
imitation of Yoda. Willow giggled and flicked soap suds at him from the
sink full of dishes she was currently washing.

He gasped in mock-outrage, "How dare you fiend? Prepare to meet your doom
at the hands of Lord Death himself!" Xander lunged forward, grabbing Willow
around the waist with one arm and tickling her with the other.

Angel was stepping into the shower when he heard the shrieks and giggles
from downstairs. Smiling he thought about how glad he was they'd shown up.
They were the only members of the gang that he'd really missed. Angel
finished his shower quickly, he had a tickling match to win.
