1. Willow/The Crow Crossover
2. Should contain the romance either Willow/Angel
or Willow/Spike... but the reason Willow comes back is not to do with one
of those partners getting killed, but for another reason.
3. The phrase "Life's a bitch now so am I".
4. Drunken Willow or High Willow or both
5. Some OZ bashing
6. The phrase "Come and get it big boy".
Extra props for....
1. Spike somehow seeing actually what happened
during the "Wish" epi. and "Doppelganger" Epi.
2. someone getting a nose job
3. Cordelia thinking she's Princess Leia
4. A kinky Xander fetish
5. A scene like from the Carrie 2: The Rage, the
Party Scene.
6. A clueless Max Evans (Roswell)
7. A coffee addicted Giles.

Come to me in the silence of the night;
Come in the speaking silence of a dream;
Come with soft rounded cheeks and eyes as bright
As sunlight on a stream;
Come back in tears,
O memory, hope and love of finished years.
-From Christina Rossetti's "Echo"
***
The crow was the only sight except for the charred
remains of the school library, the wind ruffled the trees as she rose once
again. She smiled, this was her destiny, her revenge. She
smiled again and tucking a stray strand of copper
red hair behind her ear, she followed the crow.
***
Spike turned over wildly in his sleep, beads of sweat clung to his pale white body and the red silk sheets of the bed slipped silently to the floor.
***
"No!" Spike screamed as he watched the school burn,
the fire danced before his eyes as he struggled to break free from Angel
and Buffy's grasp. "Willow," he gasped as his body
racked with sobs.
"It's too late," they were saying to him, "Willow wouldn't want you to die."
But as the flames carried on dancing, the guilt continued to rush through his body.
***
Spike woke up as the dream ended, the dream that
had plagued his mind since that night and as he had done every morning
since, he wished he had died along with her, his
Willow. His Willow who in a moment of pure unselfishness
had saved the world from the Mayor. And in that thought as he had done
in every thought since that night, he cried.
***
Glass shattered as the small fist smashed the window
and gained entry to the house. "Empty," she mused. "Something's never change."
Moving swiftly into her room she wondered if
her parents knew she had died. "They're probably
still on a conference." Willow muttered. Flinging open her wardrobe doors
her eyes darted as they consumed the contents. They
rested on the outfit that she'd worn the first
Halloween she'd known Buffy. "Perfect."
***
"And so I was like, do you really want to wreck
my career? My life? Do you hate me that much? And then I turned on the
waterworks and here it is," Cordy finished, pointing to her
nose, which was presently bandaged.
"You got a nose job?" Buffy replied, trying not to smile.
"Well duh! I couldn't have gone around with my face like that. I *am* Princess Leia."
Angel choked on his cup of blood.
"We watched Star Wars the other night," Xander explained sheepishly. "And well we..."
"Don't want to know." Buffy finished.
Spike shuffled into the living room ignoring the concerned glances of the others.
"Spike-" Angel began.
"I'm fine," he interrupted.
"No you're not."
"Can you just leave it."
"No I won't."
"Just shut up will you."
"Spike I know you're hurting but it isn't your fault."
"I should have saved her."
"What Willow did, she did because it was the type of person she was. No-one is to blame for this."
"Not even the fucked up werewolf?"
"Oz-"
"Yeah Oz. If he hadn't have decided to take that
particular moment to show up, she wouldn't have given up her life for ours
and I would have done it instead. And maybe right now I
wouldn't feel so bloody guilty. Or so lonely,"
he choked, rushing back to his room and slamming the door.
The others looked at each other.
"We need to do something," Buffy said, "And fast."
***
The sun began to rise as a loud chilling laugh
could be heard inside the house's stone walls. "Poor daddy," the demoness
roared. "He couldn't even do one little thing for his
daughter, "Well I guess i'll have to do it myself."
Glancing into her crystal ball, she smirked, "Watch out Slayer, you ain't
seen nothing yet."
Part 2
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me you understand

Willow prowled the streets, searching for something
that could not be seen in her eyes but in her deadly posture. She stopped
as she stood in front of a weaponry store. Glancing
around for appearances sake rather than for the
need, she for the second time in twenty four hours gained unauthorised
entry. She unlocked the door and stepped inside heading
straight for the swords at the back of the shop.
Her eyes rested on the ivory hilted swords and daggers, she smiled gleefully
and took hold of them, ignoring the alarms of the shop.
Strapping them to her body, she left the shop
quickly following the shadow of the crow.
***
Giles sat in his living room, gently massaging
his temple and trying to remove the headache that was presently keeping
him from his work. Deciding that tea was the only answer he
made his way over to the kitchen. His weary eyes
stopped his body as they rested upon a photo. Willow, Xander and Buffy
stood in the photo, Willow and Buffy were messing about with
Xander with water guns and he had an annoyed but
happy look on his face. Giles sighed, the photo was resent. They'd managed
to coax him into a picnic at the local park but it had
been a hot sunny day and they had soon dissolved
the picnic plans into a full on water fight. He let out a small sad smile
as he realised how much he wished he could go back to that
day.
"Willow, what happened in the library?" He asked
the photo. "What is it that you wouldn't tell us?"
***
Willow ran out of the library into the crisp night air. Her breathing was hoarse as she ran from the Mayor. Her mind full of what she'd overheard.
"My daughter... she's... Oh my god. Dead? I have
to... Yes alright... I didn't think it would go this far... Yes. I have
the witch under control. Yes she's the one, No it's okay, she won't live
long enough to stop- Okay that's fine," the mayor
spoke into the phone.
Willow knew then that he wasn't alone in his fight
against them. "He had a daughter? Well thank god it appeared that his daughter
had died. But then he'd talked about her. Me." She
mumbled. "I have to stop this. The spell..."
***
"How could I have been so wrong?" Willow asked
herself as her mind came back from that night. "I thought she was dead...
Well she will be. And soon. I had the spell that night, if
only I had known it was for her," she groaned.
"Well second time lucky I guess."
Suddenly a large force shoved her to the ground. Looking up at the vampire above her, she smirked. "You want this?" She asked gesturing to her neck.
The vampire growled.
"Come and get it big boy." Willow flung the vampire off her and grabbed her sword. "Wanna play?" She asked.
The vampire ran at her.
Dodging to the side, she raised the sword and with a quick movement of the wrist, the vampire's head lay on the ground and then turned to dust.
"I'm sorry, it would never have worked anyway." She sauntered off and carried on her journey.
Buffy came out of the shadows where she had stood
and watched the woman kill the vampire. "She looked so familiar," Buffy
said as she thought back to the woman's long red hair tied
high upon her head. Buffy shook her head, "You
really need to get over Willow's death," she told herself as a lone tear
fell down her face. "There was nothing anyone could have
done."
***
"So what did the woman look like?" Giles asked.
"Long red hair, empty sounding voice, like she was really sad."
"Willow?" Spike said roughly before clearing his throat." It could have been Willow."
"Spike. There's no way that could have been Willow,
I mean we all saw the school, we saw it burn. Come on, there was no way
she could have survived that and if she had, don't you
think she would have contacted us by now?"
"She could have survived it, she could be an immortal.
It's nothing she would have known until she had died for the first time.
There is a chance. And she might not be able to contact
us, maybe she needs time."
"Spike, it wasn't Willow. I would have recognised her."
"But-"
"Spike let go," Angel said.
"But it hurts too much." Spike whispered.
"Maybe we could go through my books, well what's left. There might be some mention of this woman in the Watcher Diaries." Giles suggested.
"Sure, i'll meet you at your apartment. I have
to go get something from home. Good job it's only a Friday night, mom's
getting slightly annoyed that i'm not around that much," Buffy
replied.
"We could do it another night."
"No it'll be fine. I might have to bring over some cake or something though. It'll make mom feel a lot better."
"Lemon sponge cake?" Xander asked.
"Of course."
"Count me in."
"I'll go and put the kettle on then," Giles said.

The bar was smoky and nearly empty as Willow entered Willie's bar. She moved through the room and sat down at the bar.
"Hiya Willie." She said.
Willie looked over to her. "Yer?"
"Don't remember me? I'm a friend of Buffy's," she leant over and whispered in his ear. "You know, the slayer."
"Shush! It's not good for business." He replied. "What do you want?"
"Well it depends on what you have to tell me."
"I don't have nowt to tell you. I keep my mouth shut and you'd better if you want to keep your head."
"I don't think I explained myself clearly. I'm
a *friend* of Buffy's and I *need* some *information*." She grabbed hold
of the collar of his shirt. "Want to play? Or are you going to help
me?"
"Shush, okay, okay."
Willow let go. "What do you know about the Mayor's daughter?"
"Mayor's daughter?"
"Yep, what is she? The latest demoness in town. What is she here for?"
"Here for... well..."
"Now."
"Word is... and you can't tell this to anyone."
"I won't."
"She set up her father or something along those
lines. He was to take over Sunnydale and the demon population. Only she
was gonna set him up to get killed along with the Slayer
and you lot. Leaving her to take over in his place.
Anyway it back fired when the demon was destroyed with one of your little
friends."
"And..."
"Well she's not a happy little demoness. Kinda wants revenge I guess."
"I guess."
"Listen that's all I know."
"Where is she staying?"
"Somewhere out of town. That my friend you'll have to work out for yourself."
"You know Willie-"
"What?"
"I'll remember you in my will."
"Thanks."
Willow rolled her eyes as she walked out of the bar, "shame it's a little too late for my will..."
***
The sun was nearly at high noon as Willow gave
up her search for the demoness. All she managed to find was a few falling
down buildings and a lot of industrial estates. "I need
help," she admitted to herself. Willie was out
of the question, she wouldn't get anything else out of him. That didn't
leave much especially when she didn't know much about the
demoness. "Giles!" Her brain screamed at her.
But that would mean Buffy knowing and the rest of the gang... and Spike.
Willow choked back tears. Seeing Spike would just make it all
worse. "Maybe I can get Giles to keep it a secret,"
she said hopefully. She looked at her watch, "After I get some rest," she
added as she headed back to her parent's house.

Fear. That's all she could feel as she entered
the cave running as fast as she could. She turned around suddenly hearing
voices, "Buffy," they cooed. The voices changed into
Spike's as they started to shout, "Your fault,
your fault," he yelled. Before changing to Angel, "Angel-" Buffy began,
"Angel, help me."
Angel smirked and Buffy stared into his cold eyes.
"Angel..."
"Guess again little girl," he replied.
"Angelus... But I.. we didn't... no no," she shook
her head.
"You did this to me," she looked up and saw Willow.
"Will-"
"You killed me Buffy, it was your job to kill
the Mayor. You're the Slayer. It's all on your head."
"No... no..."
"You're a disappointment Buffy," Joyce said as
the image changed, "Why couldn't you have been the perfect little daughter
I wanted. I deserved her, but I got you."
"And for that you will die," the vision turned
to a demoness, her black soulless eyes staring right into Buffy.
***
Buffy woke up, the fear slowly subsided as she realised she was at Giles' apartment.
Angel was shaking her shoulders, "You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, just a dream."
"A dream?" Giles echoed, "A premenition?"
"Maybe, no I don't think so. There was this demoness though. At least I think that's what she was."
"Could you describe her? Any promenent features?" Giles prodded.
"She... she had these eyes. They were so black and they... it was like... there was nothing behind them."
"No soul?"
"Yeah. I should erm... go patrol. I'll come back later, see if you've found anything."
"I'll come with you," Angel offered.
"Don't bother coming around afterwards. If I find anything, i'll call you."
"Ok."
The others left, filing out behind her offering their excuses and goodbyes leaving Giles alone, yet again with his books.
***
Willow watched them leave the apartment and smiled
sadly. "I guess I never realised how much i'd miss them," she muttered
under her breath. When they were out of sight, she
walked out of the shadows and walked up to the
front door. She hesitated before knocking and standing back.
The door opened and Giles appeared behind it, "Willow." He gasped.
"Hi," she offered. "Can I come in?"
He hesitated.
"It's okay i'm not a vampire," she added and stepped over the threshold, noticing Giles' relieved sigh.
"Willow what are you doing... we... we thought you were dead."
"I was... am. But well, it's a long story. Let's just say I have a score to settle and I need your help."
***
Willow quickly relayed over what she needed to
know, "But please don't tell anyone. I want to just do this and then I
can leave. It'll be too hard on me... and everyone if I appear
again."
"I understand but maybe if you're here for a little while, it would help loosen Spike's guilt."
"Guilt? But why... I mean, it was my decision. God, why does this have to be so hard."
"I'm not saying you do that, just... think about it."
"I... I will."
"Okay, we'd better start researching this demoness then."
Part 5
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awake in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.
I did not die.

***
"I really have to get going," Willow said, "We both should get some rest. I'll try the internet."
"Staying at your parents?"
"Yep, i'll come back tomorrow when the others have gone."
"Goodnight Willow."
"Night Giles."
***
Willow turned over fitfully in her sleep as dreams over took her and on the other side of town in Angel's apartment, Spike began to dream too.
***
Spike walked into the cemetery whistling to himself
a tune he couldn't place. Glancing up at the sky he noticed a crow sitting
in the trees but before he could register it is his mind
he saw a flash of red hair. But as soon as it
appeared it disappeared again.
"Willow?" He asked.
Putting it down to his imagination, he turned to carry on walking.
***
Willow was walking and breathing in the early night
air when she spotted the butterfly. Getting her attention she stared at
it sitting in the trees. "Gorgeous," she breathed. It's silky sky
blue wings shone in the moonlight and suddenly
it started to move away. Transfixed on the butterfly she followed it and
slowly broke into a run as it flew faster.
"Willow?" A voice called.
"Spike," she thought but as she stopped the butterfly carried on flying, groaning she ran and followed it.
***
Spike carried on walking and realised that he was
no longer in the cemetery, looking around he noticed the lake where he
and Willow had first got together. He smiled as he thought
back to that night but as his mind wandered off
again he noticed a reflection coming from the bridge that ran the width
of the lake. Looking up he saw Willow.
"Willow!" He yelled.
***
Willow was running after the butterfly but everytime
she caught up to it, it flew further away. She stopped as she realised
she could no longer see it. Glancing around her over the
bridge, she found that she'd come to the lake
where she'd first really got together with Spike. Their first date if you'd
call it that. Smiling she looked down at her reflection in the lake
but suddenly she heard someone calling her name.
Her head shot up and she saw Spike.
"Spike?" She replied.
Turning around to follow the bridge back to the other side of the lake she noticed the butterfly. It's reflection sparkled in the lake and she moved to follow it.
***
"Willow over here," Spike yelled as he saw her move to walk away from his side of the bridge. "Willow please turn around. WILLOW!"
***
Willow could hear Spike calling her name and she
ached to go over to him and be soothed by his touch but she couldn't keep
her eyes off the butterfly and carried on walking after
it.
***
Spike stared madly after her wondering why she wasn't turning around and then he noticed the crow flying in front of her.
"No Willow don't follow it!" He called after her, "I love you. Please for me, turn around and come over the bridge."
***
The butterfly started to fly faster and Willow
began to speed up after it but the bridge started to fall away. Clutching
the sides of the bridge she tried to hold on but the bridge fell
apart, dragging her into the lake and along with
it into the lake's deep depths.
***
Willow and Spike woke up suddenly as the dream ended as both soaked in sweat they stared at the ceiling of their rooms, willing the events of the dream to go away.
***
"I'd better be going," Buffy said as she got up
from in front of the fireplace where she'd been searching for information
on the demoness in her dream along with Giles and the
others.
"You'd all better be going if you want to get some sleep," Giles commented at the sleepy looks of the others.
"G-Man, you got a lady friend or something?" Xander asked.
"No... I've just been thinking about how much time
you've been spending here lately. Your parents must be getting worried
about the times you're getting in. Maybe you should spend
a little more time at home. We don't want them
getting suspicious of your activities."
"Gee thanks for the advice," Cordy replied. "Since when have our parents been worried about us?"
"Well my parents haven't noticed that i've graduated yet," Xander added.
"Yes well... go spend sometime with them. Relationships with parents aren't just one way things you know."
"You can stop right there with the advice," Buffy interrupted. "We'll go do the bonding thing and see you tomorrow."
"Good night," Giles called to them as they left the apartment.
***
Willow watched them leave the apartment as she'd done the previous night and when they'd turned the corner she knocked on Giles' apartment.
***
"Oh fuck, I left my bag in the apartment," Buffy said. "Look i'll meet up with you guys tomorrow."
Shouting her goodbyes, she ran back to the apartment
in time to see the red-haired woman she'd seen whilst patrolling, enter
the apartment. "Well what do we have here?" She asked
herself.
Walking up to Giles' apartment, she attempted to listen in but hearing nothing but muffled voices, she knocked sharply at the door.
***
"Who's that?" Willow asked.
"I don't know," Giles replied, "Go hide upstairs and i'll get rid of whoever it is."
Waiting until Willow had disappeared from sight he opened the door. "Buffy."
"Giles what the hell is going on? And don't say
nothing cos I just saw a woman enter your apartment and she bears a striking
resemblance to the woman I saw while on patrol. Come on
Giles, no lies this time. Who have you got in
your apartment?"

"Buffy-" Giles began.
"What? Gonna brush me off? Tell me that I was seeing things? Giles i'm not that stupid. Who is that woman?"
"She's... well..."
"What? Who the fuck is she?"
"I... I can't-"
"You can't tell me. How did I guess that?"
"I-"
"It's okay Giles," a voice called up from above.
Buffy looked up as she heard the voice followed by footsteps.
"Hi Buffy."
"Willow?"
"I guess I should explain, but don't yell at Giles I didn't want anyone knowing I was here."
"Why? How... but you're..."
"Dead?" She laughed. "I guess I am."
"But you died and you're not a vampire. But my spider sense is going mad, what are you?"
Willow looked at Giles and sighed. She was in for a long night.
***
"And the next thing I knew I was here." Willow finished.
"But why? Revenge? For what?" Buffy asked.
"That night, with the Mayor. It wasn't what it seemed. He wasn't working alone."
"We know that."
"Yes but what you didn't know was that he had a daughter."
"The demoness in my dream," Buffy said as everything fell into place.
"You know about her?"
"Yep, not much but she had these strange eyes. Giles- when you said you couldn't find anything was that you couldn't or wouldn't find anything for us?" Buffy asked accusingly.
"I'm sorry," Giles admitted. "But telling you about the demoness meant you'd find out about Willow."
"Well I know now, so what ya got?"
Giles glanced at Willow.
"It's okay Giles," Willow replied, "Maybe Buffy can help me find her. But this is *my* battle." She said turning to look at Buffy. "I have to do this myself."
"I understand," Buffy replied seeing the need in her eyes. "But the others are gonna find out you know."
"Not if you don't tell anyone." Willow warned her.
"But Spike could really do with seeing you, he's gutted and blaming himself like hell for what happened."
"I can't," she whispered. "It hurts too much. If he sees me again... if I see him again. He'll do something stupid Buffy. I can't live with that."
"He can't live like he is. But if you really don't want me to say anything, you know I won't."
"Thanks. Take care of him for me Buffy, please. Tell him how much I love him."
"I'll do my best."
"So what do we have on this demoness then?"
"Well her name is Morrigan. She's named after the
Celtic goddess of death and destruction. She's apparently just about indestructible
and is just twenty years younger than the Mayor.
She's known across Europe for her death stare
that can apparently freeze those she sets her eyes upon when they stare
into her eyes. So I gather her eyes must be the weak point,
though it's written in the Watcher diaries that
a previous slayer came up against her and managed to attack her eyes but
as soon as she touched her she was turned to stone."
"Gee, she sounds like a nice lady." Buffy commented.
"So I aim straight for the eyes if the spell doesn't go right," Willow noted. "Only problem is, where the hell is she staying and why is she so quiet."
"Well with her plans being ruined by Willow I guess she's biding her time until she can get her minions back to full force."
"So we attack as soon as possible," Willow replied.
"Since when did you become attack-girl?" Buffy asked.
"Since I died. I should be going, Buffy i'll meet up with you tomorrow."
"Were are you staying?"
"At my parents house."
"I'll swing by yours around eight tomorrow and we can go find Morrigan."
"Sure. Night guys."
