Spike woke up and glanced at the clock. It was early afternoon. Looking down, he smiled at Willow still in his arms. Still in his bed. Relaxing into the bed, he let his eyes drift closed once again, letting thoughts of the redhead next to him take over his mind.

Angel walked down the hall, past Spike's room when he came to a sudden halt. He could hear a heartbeat. And considering his grand-childe had been dead for over a century, he had a pretty good idea whose it was. His eyes blazed golden as he stared at the door. Angel tried to keep calm but his demon screamed otherwise. Throwing open the door, he morphed seeing them in bed together. He wrapped his hand around the younger vampire's neck and dragged him out of bed, pinning him to the wall.

Willow woke up in a start when she felt Spike being ripped from the bed. Jumping out of the bed, she glared at the intruder. 'He just didn't know when to leave things alone.' She could feel the darkness wanting to consume her, but she held back. "Let him go," she warned Angel.

"Stay out of this Willow," he growled. "This is between me and my grand-childe."

She looked at Spike. Angel had him pinned to the wall. He was trying to fight back but his feet weren't even touching the floor. When she saw Angel's hand become tighter around his neck, she whispered a small plea to the goddess. With one single word, Angel went flying across the room. Turning around to glare at him, she tried to push the magic back. "Now it's between you and me. I warned you. You didn't listen."

Angel was angry but his face melted to his human features. "He was."

"Doing nothing wrong! You attacked him. Why?"

"You were in bed together. I won't have him corrupt you!"

Willow started to laugh. She knew Angel and Spike were looking at her like she had lost her mind. "I was in HIS bed. And as for corruption.hello, witch here. The same one that tried to end the world."

Spike was proud of her standing up to his grandsire. Standing up, he walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I'd never hurt her. I told you that. Besides, the witch came to me."

"I doubt that," Angel said.

"It's true," Willow told him. "I went to Spike."

"I'm your friend. Why wouldn't you come to me?" Angel whined.

Willow stepped away from Spike's embrace. "Simple. Because you're NOT Spike!"

"What?" his demon roared at her.

"You need me to repeat it? You're not Spike. You haven't been a constant in my life in the last four years. I'm comfortable with him."

"He's a demon!" Angel said raising his voice.

"And you're what? The fuzzy teddy bear?" Willow exclaimed.
