~Responsibility, an anchor around my neck
Dependability, made me a nervous wreck
Accountability, I live from check to check
Volatility, neglect and no respect

Got my wheels in motion and I got a path to beat
I hit the road to "I don't know" and look for "tough
shit street"~

Willow had enough.  She had tried to stick out the abuse, but it was getting to be too much.  Buffy's snide remarks were getting worse, and Angel was getting even more annoying.  Even went so for as to threaten to stake Spike since she refused to leave him.

She was just taken for granted and no one but Giles tried to be civil to her anymore.  It hurt that Xander didn't even look at her.  They had been best friends since they were little and it amazed her that the friendship was so shallow that one act like first dating Angel and then Spike made him hate her.

~You know you can't resist to tell me what I mean
You gave my mind a twist said that I was unclean
The actor runs the play and ad-libs in between
You're all that I resent my thoughts were so obscene~

She couldn't believe that every one made her out to be the bitch.  Angel was the one that broke her heart, she didn't do anything.  She wished that she had never said yes when he asked her out.  She should have listened to the little voice asking her what his motives were. He never saw her in that way in the past, why should he change his view? Instead, she listened the other little voice saying that she should take his offer since she had a crush on him.

~One-way ticket nowhere there's no windows on this
train Can't see where I'm headed but I'm going there
again~

Now she was hanging on to the armrest in Spike's car, not really sure where they were going but not liking the high speed.  He had to be going at least 20 to 30 miles over the speed limit and that little scratch in the paint didn't reassure her any. Any attempts to ask him to slow down were brushed off.

She may be crazy, but she loved him and agreed when he suggested getting out of Sunnydale.  She didn't want to leave because Buffy won that way, but she just could not take it anymore.
