~Part: 1~

Willow was still in shock.  How had this happened?

Two days ago everything had been normal.  Well, as normal as it could be in Sunnydale.

After all the things that had taken place in the last year.  After Tara's death.

And now this!

Willow looked down at the small bundle in her arms.

She had only done a small ritual to ask the goddess for somebody to love.

However, she hadn't thought of a baby as it.

"What am I going to do?" she murmured to herself.

She couldn't call Giles.  Not that she was afraid, but he was still not in town.

Buffy and Dawn were at that moment on a little vacation with their dad, and Xander and Anya were surely doing things she'd rather not know about.

"First, we need a name for you," Willow stated, as she laid the baby down on the bed.

"Let me see what we have here."   After a little search, Willow found the only thing that could be used as a diaper was an old pink sweater.

"I don't need this one any more, so, why not?" she declared and began to change the baby's diaper.

"Eww...we have a little girl.  OK, then, we need a pretty name."  Willow was glad for the first time in her life that her mother had her made her babysit her little cousins at every family gathering, so she had no problems dealing with the baby.

"How about we call you Gili?  That`s Hebrew and means 'my joy'," Willow said, looking into blue eyes that looked older than the world.

"I think this it is what the goddess meant."  She lifted the baby into her arms, buried her face in her curls and breathed in the sweet scent of baby.

"Now, I think we need to get some things for you.  We need diapers, coz I don`t have any other sweaters we can use," she tickled the little chin.

"And food.  We will need food and...We will have to make a list so we don`t forget anything.  I think the child's seat still is in the attic...

~~~*~~~
Half an hour later, it looked as if Willow had shopped for the third World War.
And not once had she thought about Tara and her loss.
"I have to admit this to you, I feel a certain satisfaction," Willow whispered into Gili`s ear as she handed the credit card her mother always left her to the cashier.
Her attention on the baby as they left the supermarket, she rammed another shopping cart with her own.
"Sorry," she said distractedly, not even looking away from Gili as she walked directly to the car.
If she had looked up, she would have seen a very surprised Oz.
He had come back to Sunnydale to make a last attempt to get Willow back, but what he had just seen made him turn around and run to the car.
She had a baby, which could only mean that she had someone new in her life.
All the things he had imagined to say or do after he had heard that Tara, the woman who had stolen her from him, had died were now wrecked.
He would leave and this time he would never come back.
So he watched with tears in his eyes as she packed the car and then drove away.
But he was not the only one that watched as the car left the parking lot.
"Bloody Hell!"  And with that, the dark figure turned and left to find out more.
~Part: 2~
Willow was happy with herself and Gili. They had carried in all the purchases and packed them away.
Then they had taken a bath.  She had told Gili a goodnight story and the baby was now fast asleep.
Willow was sitting in the kitchen with a cup of hot chocolate, making a list of things she would need for Gili.
She had thought about calling her mother, but as she had reached for the phone the blinking light on the answering machine told her that somebody had called.
Willow's grip tightened around the cup as she remembered what her father had said in his message.  Her parents had decided to stay in Texas.
They had already bought a new house and, to Willow's surprise, they had kindly made clear that they would not come back and that Willow could have the house in Sunnydale.
Ira had already opened an account years ago, knowing that this day would come.  She had a lot of money with monthly checks she had earned with her computer programs, so this was no problem, but what made her mad was that the only thing her mother had said was that she wished her only daughter all the luck with her life and it would be nice if she could send them certain personal belongings.
Deep in dark thought, at first she did not hear the knock on the door.  She was hurt.  Never had she imagined that her parents would leave her this way.
When she finally heard it, the knocking had become very loud.  Afraid that whoever it was that seemed to want to break down the door any second would wake Gili, she hurried to the door.
"Spike!  What you are doing here?" Willow asked the vampire after the first shock of seeing him had worn off.
"I was in the area and told myself I should look after you, since you're all by yourself, and what would I tell the others if they all come back and something has eaten you?" Spike said while making his way into the kitchen.
He could smell the baby all over Willow and he would not go until he found out what was going on.
Willow, hoping that Gili would sleep while Spike was here, had no intensions of telling the vampire that she was not alone.  So she decided the best thing would be to act as if nothing had happened.
Spike caught a few of the items on the list that lay on the kitchen table.  As he reached out to pick it up for a closer look, Willow pushed him aside and a second later the paper was gone.
"Do you want hot chocolate?  With little marshmallows?" Willow asked in the hope that the vampire had not seen the details of the list or that he was not curious about it.
"Sure," Spike sat himself and watched how stiffly Willow moved.  After he took a sip of the hot chocolate, he let his blue eyes travel over Willow.
He had always been curious about her.  First she was only the littly shy girl in the pink sweaters that followed the Slayer like a little lost puppy.
Then she was a witch who had a lot of power but not the knowledge or the training to use it.
Now, after working with them, he had learned that she was the reason that the slayer was still alive.  And after all of the things that had happened over the last year, he knew a lot more about her.
She had so many sides, and everytime he thought he now knew who Willow was, he learned something new.
Not to mention, the last thing he had learned was that she was able to love somebody so much that not even her bright soul could hold her back when it came to revenge.
"What?" Willow didn't liked the way Spike looked at her, it was as if he could see straight into her soul.
"Nothing.  Or, better yet, why don't I ask you the same question, pet?"  The vampire loved the way her face flushed. The little chit had really thought that she could hide something from him.
"I have no idea what you are talking about," Willow got up and started washing out her cup.
Spike moved so fast that Willow did not see him coming.  He grabbed her shoulders and turned her around so that her nose was pushed against his chest.  He put his hands on the sink on either side of her.  With his right hand under her chin he forced her to look into his eyes.
"Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about, my little bird.  Tell me about the baby that is sleeping in your room," he said, breathing deeply of her scrent.
Willow was confused.  Why was she so nervous?  Was it because of her use of magic or was it him that made her heart hammer in her chest like a air hammer.  She knew that there was nothing she should be afraid of.  Yes, he was a vampire, but he could not hurt her so why not tell him everything?
"I used magic again.  I know that I shouldn't have, but I was so lonely, and I think that, as usual, I did something wrong, coz now I have Gili," Willow spoke so fast that Spike, even with his vampire senses had problems following her ramble.  And this made it possible for Willow to slip away from under his arms.
She was ready to answer his questions as well as she could when Spike looked at the ceiling.
"She is awake,"  he said.
"Oh, do you want to see her?" Willow was already on the way to her room.  She was still not sure if it was a good idea to tell Spike all about Gili.  But he was the only one around and it was nice to talk to somebody without getting 'that look'.  The look she was afraid of seeing everytime she looked into another's face, as if she could any second become a monster.
"Sweetie, why are you awake?"  As always, when she looked at the baby all her worries disappeared.
"She needs a new diaper," Spike giggled.
Willow's head shot up.  Did she just imagine things or had the big bad giggled like a little girl?  Not brave enough to ask, she walked to the cupboard and fetched the items she needed.
When she turned around, Spike had Gili in his arms.  He looked very comfortable with the baby, as if he had done it a thousand times.  Again, Willow packed this information away to think about it later.
"Spike, may I introduce you to Gili.Rosenberg."  Gili was looking at Spike as if he was the most normal thing in the world while he changed into his demonface and back, smiling like an maniac.
"Can I do that?" Spike asked as he watched Willow getting everything ready.
A little surprised, she smiled at him, "If you want."
Two minutes later a happy, and now dry, Gili gurgled as she was cuddled in Spike's arms.
"Spike I will need to get a lot of things for Gili.  Do you...I mean, would you like...with me...I mean with us..." Willow was afraid.  Why would he want to do anything with her?  But he looked so happy with the baby in his arms.  "Would you like to come with Gili and me to the mall to buy all the things I will need for her?"
"No problem, Red.  I saw the list and you two women will need a man to help you," he tickled Gili's little feet and was not aware of the joy on Willow's face.  At this moment she realized how lonesome she had been.
"Thanks," she said turning around so he could not see the tears in her eyes.
"I'll now go," Spike said as he laid Gili down on the bed.  "I will be here a little after sundown."
"We'll be ready," Willow said as she turned around, but he was already gone.  The only thing left was the smell of leather and old smoke.
She lay down beside Gili and breathed deeply.
Spike looked up to the balcony of Willow's room.
"She should know that I can smell tears," he murmured as he lit his cigarette.
~Part: 3~
Willow found it funny that not only was she excited, but Gili looked like she was ready to scream if they did not go soon.  She had started to get a little worried that Spike would not show up.  She looked at her baby and thanked the goddess for her gift. Gili was the light of her day.  They belonged together.
Gili was a happy little baby, never bad-tempered.  They had spent half of the day on the floor and the rest in the tub.  Willow had always loved a long bath but with Gili the short time in the tub was so much more fun.
With a short, hard knock on the door Spike made his presence known.  With Gili on her hip, Willow opened the door and as soon as the baby laid eyes on him she smiled, and Willow did the same.
"Ready to go, pets?" Spike could not believe that he, the big bad, a master vampire, was ready to go shopping with the slayer's witch and a little baby.  This was like playing happy family.
If, in the old days, he'd known a vampire that behaved like he did now, he would have staked him.
They silently drove to the shopping center.  The only sound in the car was Gili gurgling in the back seat, which made Spike and Willow smile.
Willow`s first purchase was a baby carriage, which made the rest of the shopping trip a lot easier for them.
Not that it was easy to find one that Spike and Willow liked.
Spike wanted the black one and Willow loved the carriage with little butterflies on it.  In the end they purchased a dark blue one with red hearts on it.
After they had everything, from the pacifier to all of the baby furniture, which would be delivered the next day, they made a brief stop so Willow could eat something.
Spike sat with Gili on his lap and listened to Willow as she told him about the call from her parents.
She did everything not ot show him how badly it hurt to have parents like this, but she failed miserably.
He could not believe it.  How could somebody as caring as Willow have parents like that.
"But, I can be happy I have a house and a lot of money," Willow said, looking at the rest of her meal, no longer hungry.
"And I have Gili," she added, looking directly at Spike.
"Yes, and you have me, too, luv."  Spike was shocked.  Where the bloody hell had that come from?  He was going soft about a little girl.  He looked at Gili and then again at Willow.
".soft about two little girls." he growled to himself.
"Let`s go and get the rest," Willow didn't want to think about what had just happened.  That would ruin this day, this special day.
" We still need something?" Spike asked, confused.
"Clothes," was the answer and they made their way toward the next store.
After they stopped in every store that carried baby clothes, Spike dragged Willow into a leather store and was now trying everything to convince Willow to buy something he considered important.
"No, Spike, she doesn`t need a leather coat," Willow said, laughing.
"But, Red, look how cute she is in it," Spike used his best puppy eyes to get his way.  And his little helper Gili looked as sweet as sugar as he held her up in front of Willow's face wearing the little black coat.
"OK, she is cute.  But in four month it won't fit," Willow sounded like a mother talking to a little kid, which only made Spike more stubborn.
"Then we buy a new one," Spike didn't want to lose this fight.
"No," Willow said, pointing at her resolve face.  She took Gili from him, and took off the coat, and left the shop, convinced that she had won.
"I`m the master," Spike mumbled as he was paid for the coat, not noticing the strange look he was getting from the salesman.
~Part: 4~
When they arrived home, Gili was fast asleep and while Spike unpacked the car Willow pot her to bed.
They acted as a team, well used to playing together.
"Which room will be hers?" Spike asked as they sat in the kitchen, again drinking hot chocolate.
"I think it would be best to give her the guestroom.  It`s the room next to mine."
"That`s a good idea.  When do your parents get their stuff?" he asked, not sure if this was a good idea, but he had thought about something on the way home and before he could ask, he needed to know a few things.
"I will pack them together tomorrow morning, and then I have this firm that will come and get it in the afternoon."  She had no clue why Spike was so interested, but it was so good to have somebody to talk to again that she would do everything to not lose this.
"I'll get going, now," Spike got ready to leave.
Willow followed him to the door, not sure if she could ask him if he would be back on the next evening or not.
"I hope you'll have everything ready when I come," he said and then the door closed in front of Willow.
"Everything ready?"
~~~*~~~

Willow was lying on the couch with Gili on her chest, both a little sleepy after all the packing, when a knock sounded at the door. The packer had left them ten minutes ago, and it was still daylight, so the only person it could possibly be entered without giving Willow a chance to stand up.

"Will, it's the Xan-man where are you!  Anya and I thought about getting pizza..."  The two intruders stopped in the middle of the living room, or rather, Xander did.  Anya let out a little sequel and stormed to Willow.

"This is a baby.  A baby.  I so love babies.  Is it a girl?  Or a boy?  I like girls more," the ex-demon said, not stoping to breathe.

Willow, a little schocked anserwed like a machine.  "Yes, it's a baby and yes, it's a girl.  Her name is Gili.  Do you want to hold her?"  This question made Anya look into Willow's face for the first time.

"YES," she breathed.

Willow sat up and placed the little girl in Anya's waiting arms.

"Willow, whose baby is this?" Xander asked with a little burning feeling in his gut that he would not like the answer.

"I used magic."  Xander stopped her in the middle of the sentence.

"You did what?  Do you remember that you've sworn that you will never do it again?  Do you remember what happened last time?  You wanted to kill all of us!  You wanted to end the world!" Xander screamed.

Willow was now standing in the middle of the room, tense, her eyes closed.

Slowly a river of tears ran down her face.

"Xander, stop it!  Look at her," Anya pointed in Willow's direction with her chin.

"Willow, oh, I'm sorry," Xander walked over to his best friend since childhood and took her in his arms.

"I`m really sorry.  It`s just that I still have this fear of losing you," he whispered in her ear as he made little calming sounds.

"I`m sorry Xander. I know all these things, but I was so lonely, and it was only a little spell. I never want to...I only asked the Goddess for somebody to love and she gave me Gili, and that`s not a bad thing. And Spike...."

"Deadboy jr.?  What does he have to do with this?" Xander was again in battle mode.

"Stop it Xander.  He has nothing to do with me and the magic, but he found out about Gili and helped me. He will be coming over ."

"How did he help?" Anya interrupted.

"He helped me get all the things for Gili and he will be here soon to help me set up her room," Willow whispered.

"Xander, you and Willow talk about everything, and I will watch the baby," Anya said and then she babytalked to Gili, "I will be your babysitter."

~~~*~~~
When Spike arrived after the sun had set, he immediately noticed the presents from Anya and Xander.
This could only mean that they now knew everything and his face fell.  All day long he had thought about Gili and Willow and how much he had enjoyed the time with them.  Not that he would tell anyone that he felt this way.
But to lose all this would hurt, he was no better than the bloody poof.
With this thought in mind, it was no wonder that he had vamped out as he knocked on the door.
Xander, on the other hand, had no idea what was going on in the brain of the vampire, so as he opened the door his instincts first screamed 'run' and scream is what he did.
Spike had no chance to react, it all happened too fast, even for a vampire.  The last thing he remembered was that he had knocked on the door.
Then it was opened by the moron and now the moron was lying on top of him, still screaming like he was insane.
"Stop it!  What the hell do you think you are doing?" Spike shoved him aside.
Willow and Anya stormed out of the house to see what had happened and looked at Spike, who now was standing, and a blushing Xander, who had no intension of explaining why or what had just happened.
"Nothing...you still have the chip."  He turned and looked at Willow and Anya, "He still has the chip."
"Fuck off.  Of course, I still have this bloody thing in my head," Spike replied.
"What happened?" Willow asked.
But both Xander and Spike were too embarrassed to tell what had happened, not that they knew exactly what it was, and so both decided to do the thing all men are good at.
They acted as if nothing had happened.
~~~*~~~

"Do you think they know what they're doing?" Anya asked as she watched Willow feeding Gili.

"I don`t know, but the discussion over the best location for the bed stopped an hour ago.  Or do you think that they've become buddies?" Willow had to smile.

"I still want to know what happened out there, but they both only say that it was nothing."

~~~*~~~
"Are they still talking about us?" Xander wanted to know .
"Yes," Spike watched Xander closely.  "What did happen out there?"
"I opened the door and you were in vampface," this, and a shoulder twitch that accompanied the answer, was all Xander was ready to give, but it was enough for Spike and made a lot clear.
~Part: 5~
Willow stood by Gili's bed and watched as the little chest rose and fell.  Everything had changed in the last two weeks.  She had lost her parents, thouhg if she were honest with herself, she never really had parents.
Then she had become a mother.  Yes, that`s what happened at the moment the goddess fullfilled her wish.
And the goddess had done a lot more for her.  Not only did she give her this baby to love, she also had Xander, her best friend, back in her life.
They had talked a lot and everything was fine again.  And Anya and Willow had found something they had in common.  Anja loved Gili and during the fun and work with the little girl, both woman had discovered that they liked each other.
And now she also had Spike in her life.  She would've never thought that the vampire would become a part of her family, but that was what they all were now.
A family.
Willow took one last look at Gili, then walked to her room to go to bed.
Through the balcony windows in her room, she could already see the sun beginning to rise just as she heard a sound from downstairs.
Willow was not thinking, she was only reacting.  With a short look in the direction of Gili's room she stormed down the stairs.
She could see a dark figure on the verge of entering the house.
Her eyes turned black and she didn't hesitate.  Just as the door opened, a short fling of her fingers send the person flying back out onto the porch.
Willow walked toward the door to take a look at whoever had tried to break into her home.  She was in rage.  Nobody would come near Gili.  She would not lose somebody she loved, not again.
She stood in the doorway, ready to kill whoever was out there.  She saw the person lying on the porch stairs, smoking.
"Bloody hell, Red."
Part of Spike was proud of this woman who would have killed anything stupid enough to try something, and the other part was sure that at least four ribs and his nose were broken.
Not to mention the early morning sunrise burning his body.
"Spike!  What...?  Why are you here?" Willow was more than a little confused.  Spike and the others had left just two hours ago.  Why would he break into the house?
"Pet, you can ask your questions later.  Right now, help me get inside," he tried to stand, but he had lost too much blood.  This was so shameful.
"Of course!" Willow used all her strength to help him into the house.  She still had a lot of questions, but first she needed to make it up to Spike.
After what seemed an eternity, Spike lay on the couch.  Willow immediately closed all the curtains to keep the sunlight out.
After she made sure that the vampire was safe, she turned on the light and got a shock.  Spike looked like he had been through the ringer.
Both of his eyes were swollen and purple and the same was true for the rest of his face.  There where cuts all over his face that were still bleeding and, from what his clothes looked like, the rest of his body was in the same shape.
Without a word she turned and ran into the bathroom to get all the things she had to patch him up.
Since she'd come to know Buffy, she made sure to have everything available.  Unfortunately, it had proved itself useful too often.
After she had placed everything on the coffee table, she walked into the kitchen to get a bowl with warm water and a knife.
Breathing deeply, she walked back to where Spike was laying.  He had not moved and the only thing that gave away that he was still alive were the little moans he issued now and then, and the fact that he was vamped out.
"I know that you can hear me.  This will hurt, but I think we need to get your clothes off first, so I can see how bad it is," she began to peel his duster off.
The vampire did everything to keep himself from crying out.  He bit his lower lip and pressed his eyes closed.
After he was settled back, Willow took his boots off, and then began to cut off the rest of his t-shirt and jeans.
She knew that this would hurt him, so taking them off the normal way was not an option.
For this reason, both of them let out a small sigh of relief when Willow was done and Spike was left in just his boxers.  Willow began to wash his body, making sure that all the injuries were clean and would heal well, making soothing sounds the entire time.
She taped his ribs and, with a lot of tears, her own, straightened his broken finger and fixed it.
The whole time, Spike said nothing.  He watched as Willow did all this as carefully as possible.
He was glad that he had made it here, but he knew that she would have a lot of questions for him and he had no idea how he could tell her what had happened.
"It`s a good thing that I have insisted on having a little blood in the house.  I'll heat you some now.  And when I`m back I want to know who did this to you," Willow said.
Spike's first thought was to flee, but his condition made this impossible, and so he waited for Willow's return.
She watched as Spike, cuddled in a blanket, drank his second cup of blood.  After he had finished, she decided that it was time to talk.
"Tell me what happened."
"Bloody hell, pet, this is embarrassing."  He could not look at her as he began to talk.
"I walked into my crypt and they were waiting."
"Who was waiting?" Willow didn't want to push him, but she needed to know.
"The new master in town and his pack.  He thougt it would be good for his reputation to kill me."  Spike tried to get up, but failed, and only the quick move of Willow saved the vampire a fall to the ground.
"Look what happened to me.  I should see the sun one last time.  I`m a joke.  The bloody  poof is more of a vampire than I am."  Willow stopped his tirade with her fingers on his sore lips.
"Stop it!  Gili needs you!  We need you!  First, you will be moving in.  You can have my parents' old room. Xander can get your things.  And now, I will help you go to bed, coz I think we both could use some sleep." Spike knew that he had to do as he was told, so he made no argument.
~Part: 6~
"How bad is it?" Xander asked, after he made his way into the kitchen where Willow was sitting.  Willow had called him and he had picked up all of Spike's things.  The 'still intact' things packed into a bag that he had  in his hand.
Anya was already storming in Gili's direction and was now kissing and cuddling the half asleep baby.
"He looks like death," Willow said and then she giggled.  "You know what I mean."
"There was a lot of blood."  A small smile was all Xander showed.  He had been worried after Willow's call and what he had found at the cemetery, with all the blood and Spike's things broken and scattered, had not made him feel any better.
Over the last weeks he had come to know a side of Spike that he liked.  Sometimes it felt like Jessie was back in his life.  Not that he didn't have enough friends, but he was still a man, and every man needed a buddy, a male buddy.
"I'll bring him his stuff," he said and walked out of the kitchen.
"Anya...Anya do you have the blood from Willie's?" Willow asked the still-babytalking ex-demon.
"An, do I need to get a diaper to get your attention?"
------------------
"Hey, Spike.  I heard somebody kicked your sorry ass."  Xander tried to see past all the cuts and bruises, but that was not an easy thing.
"Xander, don`t look at me that way.  Ours is a forbidden love."  Spike hated this.  Every half hour Willow and Gili would look after him.  He felt more like the baby in this house and now Xander looked at him with teary eyes.
"I have your stuff," Xander placed the box near the wardrobe and then seated himself on the end of the bed,"but your clothes are all gone.  I packed some of mine so you don`t have to stay in bed until somebody has time to buy you something new."
"You really think I would put on  your clothes if I could stay in bed and be pampered?" Spike winked in Xander's direction.
----------
"Now tell me what's up with you and Spike?" Anja asked Willow while helping her set the table.
"What?  Anya, nothing's 'up' with me and Spike," Willow said, not sure how she could think that.
"Oh ..hmm!  Ok, but I thought he would be able to give good orgasms and don`t tell me that you don`t like that." Anya, with one eye always on the baby, walked around the table.
"Of course I like orgasms...I mean, making love," Willow' wondered whether Anya's obsession was contagious. "But, I don`t think that Spike and I will ever have that."
Now Anya was confused, "So there will be no orgasms ever for you two?"
"Not together," Willow thought everything was settled with that.
But not for Anya.
"Ah, I get it.  So, how do you do it?  The shower head?  Or something with batteries, I like..."
"Stop it! I so don`t want to hear this," Willow flushed and stormed out of the room.
--------
Willow walked straight into the bathroom.  While she had been talking on the telephone with a salesman, Spike had told her, in a very comic mime, that he would bathe Gili tonight.
She knew that there was no towel in the bathroom, and so she carried one in her hand.
The towel fell to the floor as she caught sight of what was going on in the tub.  The thing that so surprised her wasn't that Gili was laughing and splashing around, it was that a very naked, very naked attractive, Spike was doing the same.
She took a step back behind the door and watched them.  Gili was in heaven.  Willow knew that her baby loved to bathe and it seemed that Spike felt the same way.
His hair was a lot more curly than normal and little water drops shimmered like diamonds on his skin.  He looked sexy, even with the duck on his head.
Willow blushed, turned, and ran into her room.  She closed the door and threw herself onto her bed.
When she closed her eyes, she could still see him, and all the things Anya had said  buzzed in her head.
"Bad Willow!  There will be no orgasm thoughts about Spike," she giggled, "or the duck."
~Part: 7~
"Whoever you are, if you wake them up I will kill you!" growled Spike on the away to the door.  Carefully, so he wasn't hit by the sun, he opened the door.  A very angry Watcher stormed in.
"Where is she?" he grabbed Spike and pushed him against the now-closed door.
"Rupert, or should I call you Ripper.," Spike was amused, but only until he remembered that the Watcher had talked about a `her`.
"Xander told me everything.  She used magic again...," Giles let go of the vampire and stormed in the direction of Willow's room.
"Bloody hell.," and Spike was right behind him.
Xander was the one who had agreed to get the Watcher from the airport.  They had all thought together about the best way to tell him what had happened and they had came to the conclusion that it would be best to invite him to dinner and then show him Gili.
But Spike was ready to bet his duster that Xander had opened his mouth too wide.
Giles opened the door to Willow's room, ready to do whatever would be necessary to save the witch or, if it was too late, to save the world.
He was not prepared to see a sleeping Willow with a baby cuddled in her arms.  It was the picture of pure innocence and love.
So he stood there, not making a sound.  After a few minutes, he turned and walked out of the room.
Spike had watched Giles closely to make sure that everything was fine and, after a last glance at the bed, he silently closed the door and followed the Watcher.
"Rupert, I think perhaps Xander didn't tell you everything," Spike said, already sure of the answer.
"Well, it seems that he left a few things out."  Giles was embarrassed.  How had this happened, he wondered as he cleaned his glasses.
"Let's go into the kitchen and I will tell you everything."  The vampire had a good feeling, not about the Watcher going all Ripper on him, but that this action made it clear how important Willow was to him.
-----------
Willow, still half asleep, walked into the kitchen with Gili on her hip.
She felt a lot better now.  Spike had insisted that she and Gili take a nap.
After they both had been awake for what seemed to Willow a whole week.  She didn't know that getting teeth was this painfull for a baby.
"Spike, is the biting ring still in the freezer? Coz...," she walked into something big, hard, and warm.
She needed a moment to process this information.  The smell was familiar.  She lifted her face and looked directly into Giles' dark brown eyes.
Stepping back, she waved with her free hand.
Not sure what to say, she said nothing.
The tension in the room was too much for Gili, so she did what all babies do.  She breathed deeply and then started crying.
Before Spike or Willow could react, Gili stretched her small arms in Giles' direction, and the Watcher, without thinking, obeyed her request.  Gili, now happy, cuddled herself deeper in Giles' arms and, with a little teethless smile she grabbed hold of a little tweed and put it into her mouth.
Giles looked a little shocked at Willow, and then at Spike.
"Spike, I think you are right.  This really is a special little lady."  And then he smiled, and so did the others.
~Part: 8~
"That has nothing to do with it, Pet."  Spike was sure that if Willow would not stop soon he would go crazy.
"Yes, it has.  You only want me to say, 'Yes Spike, you are right, you are my master'."  Willow, searching under the bed, did not see the yellow glow of the vampire's eyes at her words.
"Stop it." Spike said, still watching her little bottom and how it moved.
Willow stood up and placed her hands on her hips.
"Spike, what is your problem?"  This was ridiculous anyway.  He was the last one to have seen the car key.
"Little Bird, you don`t want to know it."  He wanted to look away, or maybe even run, but as he looked into Willow's eyes, he was lost, and so was she.
With one fast move, he had her in his arms and pinned to the wall.
"Luv, you have no idea what you do to me.  Your smell, that little smile, the sparkles in your eyes, are making me hard as a rock."  He pressed the part that he was talking about against her belly, which made Willow let out a groan.
"And that sweet little butt.," he moved his hands to her bottom and lifted her up so that his bulge was now pressing hard against her and she wrapped her legs around him.
"You are a temptation.," he murmured against her lips, while letting his right hand travel from her butt to her neck, "and I think I will succumb to it."
He softly pushed her head to the side so that he had a full view of her neck.  Willow began to whimper as he touched her warm skin right above her pulse with his tongue.
Willow dug her nails into his shoulders.  This felt so good, so right.
"Oh .Spike."
Spike possessively kissed her now.  Lost in passion, they both began to touch, kiss, lick and explore each other as much as possible.
Soon this was not enough, and the vampire let go of her only to begin to remove her clothes.  Willow helped him as much as she was able, but her knees were weak and her heart was racing.
When Willow was standing naked, still leaning against the wall, Spike took a moment to absorbing the sight of her.
"You are a goddess."  He knelt down in front of her and placed his hands on her hips.
Willow was tied up by the look in his eyes.  She could see the need in them, the same need she felt.
"Spike...," she was afraid, it had been a long time ago for her.
"Shh.everything will be good, Willow."  Spike kissed her belly button and then he made little circles around it with his tongue.
As soon as Willow relaxed and gave in, he made his way down her belly.  After all the nights he had dreamed of this moment he wanted it to be perfect for his little witch.
Languidly, she reached down with both hands and placed her fingers behind his head, entwining them in his hair.
"Oh, goddess, yes.," Willow whispered again and again.
She swung first one leg and then the other onto his shoulders, locking her ankles together behind him.  Gently, but firmly, she drew his head into her.
Looking up, he could see her pear-like breasts swaying gently before him.  Locked in the embrace of her legs, he felt his head being drawn in still further.  He could smell her sex as his nose nuzzled into her pubic triangle. The delicate softness of the lips of her vulva met his.
Lifting his arms over the top of her legs, he slipped his hands down the sides of her inner thighs.  Gently, he drew her legs apart so he could explore her womanhood.  Softly, he sucked and nibbled the petals of her vulva, tasting the sweetness of her.
"I want you.  I want you."  Her hands pressed his head in hard against her flesh as she cried out her demands.
And then the front door slammed open and a happy, "We're back and we have Chinese food!" sounded out in the house.
"I will kill them!" Spike growled.
Willow let go of him, and grabbed her clothes, and ran into her room.
Spike, out of sheer frustration, beat against the wall, and his hand got stuck.
"I WILL KILL THEM!" he screamed.
___________
Giles watched Willow and Spike.  They where all sitting at the kitchen table eating the Chinese food, but something was different.
First, as he came in he had heard Spike scream something.  Not courageous enough, he had not asked what had happened while they had been away.
And then, usually both would talk at the same time and make lame jokes, but not today.  Willow never looked at Spike and Spike looked only at Willow.
"They were having orgasms and we interrupted them," Anya stated, pointing with a rib from Spike to Willow and back.
This made Willow jump up and run from the kitchen, Spike on her heels.
"Well." Giles looked at Xander, not sure what to say, "tomorrow I think we should eat pizza."
"I think that's a good idea," Xander said, holding his sticks in the air.  A few weeks ago, the thought of Willow and Spike together would have made him sick.  But now he only wanted them to be happy.
"An, hon, do you want more rice?"
~Part: 9~
"Red, wait!  Red...Willow," Spike grabbed her from behind and spun her around.
Still holding her shoulders he leanedt down and kissed her with all the emotions that he felt.
"We need to talk about it," she whispered.
"I know, luv.  Get your jacket," he said and, with one last kiss, he let her go.
"Giles, we're going for a little walk.  Could one of you put Gili to bed?" Willow asked, on her way to where Spike was waiting at the front door.
"Yes, that's not a problem.  So don`t worry.  We'll watch this movie that Xander was talking about." Giles said, and then he winked at Anya, who giggled.
"Yeah, it`s called `they should not come back without good news`," the ex- demon whispered.
The pair walked for a little ways, not saying a word.  Spike grabbed Willow's hand.
He wasn't sure what he could say, but being with her felt so right.
"Willow, I want you to know that you and Gili are really special to me..I mean, this is not about sex.bloody hell..," he pulled her to a nearby bench and sat down.  With a short jerk he made her sit on his lap facing him.
"Willow, look at me," he begged.  "I want this to work with us.  I want you," he stroked her cheek.
"Are you sure about this, Spike?" she sniffled.  "I`m not strong enough to lose you as a friend if this is doesn't work."
He kissed her softly, then pulled her into his strong arms.
"Listen, Red.  You're never getting rid of me again.  We will take slow steps and see what it brings.  But remember, I`m still a demon.  If you're not ready to accept this part of me, we should stop right now."
"Kiss me, Spike."
And so he did.  Soft and loving, controlling his desire to do more.
Cuddled in each others arms, they walked back home to tell their little family the news.
------
Buffy was standing behind a tree not far away from the bench.
Just back in town, she wanted to say hello to Giles.  He had not been at home, so she had made her way to Xander's and Anya's apartment, but they weren't at home either.
On her way back home, she had heard Willow's voice.  In need of someone to talk to, or better, to tell how great her trip had been, she had followed the lead and what she saw made her stop behind the tree.
She could not believe that her once-best friend was making out with the walking undead.
This could only mean that Willow was back to being the monster that wanted to destroy everything.
Buffy had always had the feeling that Willow was no longer the nice loving person she used to be.
This time she would not watch it.
She would end it.  If this meant killing Willow, she would to it.   After all, she was the slayer and it was her job.
And Spike would soon be nothing more than a little dustpile under the carpet.
Happy with her decision, she made her way home.  Dawn would be waiting for her,
and she could tell Giles and Xander about her vacation tomorrow.
~Part: 10~
"Giles, I have the new inventory sorted.  The chicken feet look really good this time.  And now I'm going to take Gili home.  She needs to take her nap," Willow said, walking to the back room of the magic shop.
"But, Willow she can sleep...," Anya stopped in the middle of the sentence.
Giles and Willow turned around to see what it had made the ex-demon fall silent.
Dawn stood in the doorway with Xander.
"It`s fine, An.  I told her everything and she's here to see the baby," Xander informed the group that had all stopped breathing.
Willow looked at Giles, who gave her an encouraging wink.
"She's in the back room," she said, and then opened the door in a gesture of invitation.
Dawn, now sure that it was the Willow she used to love in front of her, stormed though the shop and hugged her tightly.
"I love you, Dawnie.  Don`t be mad at me," Willow murmured, with tears in her eyes.
"I`m not mad.  You were lonely.  It`s ok.  Don`t cry, coz I want to see the baby," Dawn smiled and pulled Willow into the room with Gili.
"That worked out fine I think." Giles said to Xander, who had not moved since he had entered the shop.
"You have no idea.  She has really grown up.  After I told her everything she had a few questions, really good questions.  And I think the feeling of solitude is nothing new to her," he walked to Anya and kissed her check.
Willow and Dawn, who now had Gili in her arms, came back into the shop.
"She's so cute!  I can`t believe it," Dawn said, as Gili played with the long hair that seemed to fascinate her.
"You can be a babysitter, too," Anya suggested, which made the others look a little surprised at her.
"What?"
"An, last time somebody other than you wanted to watch over Gili you," Xander tried to explain, "were on the ground crying and screaming."
"Oh, that!  No!  Dawn will be a good babysitter for Gili."  This made Dawn smile and Giles look a little offended. He had been the person that had offered to watch over Gili so the other four could go and watch a movie.
