In “The Yoko Factor” (Season Five) Giles is singing this 1973 Lynyrd Skynyrd track when Spike shows up at his apartment to give Buffy information about The Initiative.
He deliberately increases Giles’ sense of insecurity about his role in Buffy’s life by refusing to deal directly with him and taunting him that he is no longer Buffy’s Watcher but a retired librarian whose authority she doesn’t respect (and never did). Giles reacts by pouring himself a drink.
The lyrics indicate Giles’ increased restlessness which will culminate in him leaving Sunnydale in Season Six:
