"WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS." BTVS Intertext/Allusion.
In "I Robot, You Jane" (Season One) Xander refers to the Beatles track ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ from the 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Band when trying to ascertain if Dave committed suicide or was killed by another computer geek under the influence of Moloch, a demon trapped in cyberspace. The following dialogue is taken from the Buffy Dialogue Database:
BUFFY: Dave. He's dead.
GILES: How?
BUFFY: Well, it looks like suicide.
XANDER: With a little help from my friends?
BUFFY: I'd guess Fritz. Or the other zomboids from CRD.
