Beautiful and heartrenching, I might have cried, but if I did it was only for a moment!! This was wonderful!

Author's Response: I absolutely love hearing that I struck an emotional chord. Thank you for taking the time to review. Each review inspires me to keep plugging away at it, and to take chances like I did in this one. Thanks again

Hey, just read this one and a have to say I did love it, even if my sexy hunk of british didn't get the girl. But it's written the way it should be! So bravo!!! oh and I'll see ya at work!!! Love ya lots!!!!

Author's Response: You crazy Spuffy shipper!!! But I know you agree with me in the end so that is all that matters. Angel and Buffy forever:)

This was how the story should have been told. "The Girl In Question" left so many things up in the air, and there was no finality between either Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike. I like the reversal of dialogue and how well you mimic the voice of each character. I also like how you conveyed the fact that yes, Buffy loves Spike, but not in the romantic sense. I always believed that Spike and Buffy had that deep connection, and I was glad how you retained the romantic love between Buffy and Angel without diminishing the depth of feeling Spike and Buffy have for one another. Great job. ^_~

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the reverse dialogue, it was fun to write. Also I appreciate that you agreed with my perception of the types of relationships each of them had. I know some people would say that I must be an Angel/Buffy shipper, but I don’t consider myself one. I love Spike and I understood the importance of every depiction of the Spike/Buffy ‘romance’. Which is why I feel confident in my interpretation of how the (tv) story would have ended. Thanks for taking the time to review.

Oh. My. God. Wow. That's all i can say. Just... wow. The way you put together all the history between Buffy and Angel, and Buffy and Spike. I loved that you let Angel accept Spike and Buffy. And this should definately have happened before the battle. You Star!

Okay, sorry I printed my review twice, my computer kind of freaked out on me. But now I'm writing again for another reason. I was thinking that this was a series for some unknown reason and so I went back to read the next chapter and sure enough... there isn't one. You have to write a sequel to this once. I'm begging you! This was just such a good story that I think that it shouldn't end there. I will do anything for another chapter at least. PLEASE!

Author's Response: I hadn't really thought about doing any kind of sequel, though now that the thought has been implanted, I will look at it again to see if any possibilities are there.

Oh my Gosh! I love this story so far. I got online and decided that I needed to read some of the stories of my reviewers, I feel like I'm obligated too. So I went to your page and this story just looked interesting, but now, I'm totally hooked. You write Buffy and Angel perfectally. The way they act, the way they speak and your descriptions makes me feel as if I'm watching an episode. There's one paragraph that really sticks out to me though. “Angel…are you still my – “ Angel stopped at the sound of Buffy's sweet voice and turned to look back at her. Still backing away, he answered her before she could finish the question, knowing immediately what it was, remembering he had asked her a similar one years ago, and his response mirrored the one she had given him then, “Always.” That was absolutley beautiful! I would love to see something like this happen on the show. I'm going to go read more now. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

Author's Response: I’m really glad that you liked that section which of course stemmed from the BTVS episode Enemies The idea I had when writing the fic is that much of the dialogue would be directly from the shows themselves, however the speakers would change places. Such as when Angel says: “When you're around, whether I see you or not, - I feel you - inside - and it throws me.” This was actually the dialogue spoken by Buffy in ATS episode I Will Remember You. And then I did the same with the Spike dialogue. The only problem was that I think some people didn’t really get that, and felt Angel’s voice in this piece was too flowery and thus out of character. However, though we did see Angel’s emotions harden as the seasons went by, there are still memorable moments such as the end of IWRY, The Zeppo, Amends, and Earshot…that showcase his sensitive and vulnerable side. So this incredible ramble was to say thank you for making me feel that it was after all a good piece as it stands and one worthy of a sequel in your eyes.

This was extremely satisfying. You have a knack for providing closure where the show does not. More impressively, you have a knack for providing realistic closure that stays true to the characters and story.

This was great. Reaaly great. I don't usually enjoy romance but you captured the characters adeptly. I thought your interpretations of the characters feelings were very real. She loves Angel and Spike but in different ways. I can imagine how bittersweet that must be for Spike. Nice.

YAY! I loved it! It was very good, and the dialogue was wonderous.

I loved this. The dialogue was right on the mark. Strong emotional connection to both Spike and Angel, and beautifully written. Excellent job.

This was a great fic--made me laugh, made me teary-eyed, and left me smiling at the end. I'm so glad to see that there are B/Aers ought there who get B/S. I especially loved this line: "Do you see me flashing anything remotely Elizabeth Taylor?" Brilliantly Spike!

Author's Response: Thank you for your review. I'm glad you got the B/A B/S relationship resolution I was trying to get across. And I'm especially glad you had an emotional response to the scene, that's the very thing I was striving for.

It was made abundantly clear who Buffy would choose. Nice story. Enjoyed the interaction and the use of their past to fuel their actions. Good work.

Author's Response: Thanks for the affirmation on the clarity of her choice. I wanted to make it clear without shouting 'friends'! It sounds as if you felt that I was able to do that.
