Eine mysteriöse Frau namens Gwendolyn Post taucht in Sunnydale auf. Sie warnt Buffy, dass der Dämon Lagos unterwegs in Richtung Höllenschlund ist und den Handschuh von Myhnegon sucht. Dieser Handschuh verleiht seinem Besitzer unendliche Macht. Buffy teilt dies Angel mit, der sich ebenfalls auf den Weg macht. Es gelingt ihm, Lagos zuvorzukommen. Doch die Freunde ahnen nicht, dass Gwendolyn den Handschuh für sich haben will. Buffy und Faith steht ein harter Kampf bevor.
