Prologue

She stood as still as the moon by the sea. The sky was as dark as the waters beneath it. She was different, but the same, for her dark nature was always in the depths of her soul. Her hair was no longer as gold as the sun, but as dark as the sky at midnight. Her eyes were still as green and piercing as emeralds, yet when willed, they are as black as the night sky. Her mind is shattered, yet holds the infinite wisdom not known by even the wisest and oldest of beings.

She takes in the secrets of the sea and the moon, for it is the moon that controls the powers of the sea. Her eyes, now as black as the sky, glow red from all the magic within her. The moon shines down to where her lover is at beneath the sea. Her power rises up the box, containing the One with the Angelic Face, up above the dark abyss that it dwelled.

She transports it to the sand in front of her. With powers unseen, the bolts pop out with the speed and force of a bullet. She opens it, and she sees the face of 'her angel' as thin and pale as can be. The loss of his soul was caused by weeks of concealment from humans and demons alike. Having no companion for weeks made the demon stronger than the soul, so the demon pushed it out. The soul gladly went to his love that had been waiting for him. It was finally their time to be together.

She levitated his body out of the box, and laid him in the sand. She caressed his face lovingly, dreaming of the destruction and chaos they would bring. She thought ' You people think you know what's to come, but you have no idea'.

She looks to the city and says," You've got trouble!"
