On her first night in the house, Cordy gets a vision of an unsuccessful contestant in trouble. Unable to use her cell phone in the house, Cordelia transmits cryptic clues to the Angel Investigations team on the live broadcast.

While ghostly happenings are scaring the housemates out one by one, the team's investigations lead them to the basement of the house where Wolfram and Hart are literally brainwashing young girls into becoming younger and more perfect models of their client's (now dead) wives.

This novel based on the series, is the first to introduce Wesley and Gunn to the team and to deal with Cordelia's visions. The story is set shortly after Angel has achieved his epiphany and returned to the fold with Wesley as his new boss. Compelling reading as always, Jeff Mariotte has come up with a new and interesting turn in Cordelia's life, especially intriguing for myself as I had just become engrossed in Big Brother 3 (UK) whilst reading this.
