Summary:
Finding an orb that apparantly leaves those that touch it crazy Buffy starts to think that there may be something supernatural causing her mother's illnes. With the help of Willow, Buffy goes into a trance which will separate the supernatural from reality, the trance shows her that while Joyce's illness is real, Dawn is not.  Returning to where she found the orb, Buffy saves a dying monk from the clutces of an extremely strong woman. Before he dies the monk passes on some important information about Dawn.
