| Navigation | This world is older than any of you know. Contrary to popular mythology it did not begin as a paradise. For untold aeons, demons walked the earth and made it their home, their hell. But in time they lost their purchase on this reality, the way was made for mortal animals, for man, all that remains of the old ones are vestiges, certain magics, certain creatures.
Attracted by the Hellmouth, a centre of mystical convergence, vampires, zombies, werewolves, incubi, succubi and everything you've ever dreaded was under your bed but told yourself couldn't be by the light of day, gravitate towards Sunnydale. Not to be left behind, as well as all its everyday strangeness, LA has its fair share of things that go bump in the night too. Got a little demon problem of your own?
