This is the story that ties Piano Lessons for my favorite. I originally read it on Spuffy Fantasy and I loved it (and the sequels, of course). Who wouldn't lie if Spike showed up at their door from an escort service? LOL Great job!
Summary: AU fic where Buffy and Spike get a flat tire on their way home from college. They end up spending the night at a motel while waiting for the car to get fixed, and things get a little interesting.

Well, I'm finally getting some free time to read some fics and I'm so glad I did. I normally don't get a chance to review for many reasons (not enough time, I stop reading the story, etc.) but I read all of the chapters of this one tonight and I wanted to commend you on your writing style and plot. You have taken an EXTREMELY touchy subject (more than one, actually) and done wonders with it. I don't mind the taboo subject (and for the record, I don't consider cousins by marriage taboo, but I know other people do) and this story has so many layers and, I'm sure, many layers that have not been discovered yet. Title: Chapter 20: Life Without Faith
I have to say I'm glad I started reading this story. Although, I am also glad that I waited, because some of those cliffhangers would have killed me LOL! I was sorry about Faith in this chapter. Yeah, she was a bitch, but I was expecting a car accident or something. She was just never able to escape the demons of her past. I was kind of hoping Gunn was Forrest (I have a soft spot for Gunn) but I could easily picture Wes- based on the Angel episode of "Billy." He could play a serial killer with the best of them :-) You stayed true to the dark theme of the story and you've done a great job! I can't wait for your next update.
Summary: After Buffy's day from hell thanks to the Geek Trio, Willow decides to "help" by making Buffy forget she ever died. And—big surprise here—this goes terribly, terribly wrong. (Less angsty alternative to season 6; goes off canon following "Life Serial.")
