Kristin has posted the archive of her weekly chat, it's up at E! Online. I will point out that she is still sticking with her spoiler that Spike vanishes.

From 50%angel: I heard Spike doesn't die in the finale, he just disappears. Is this true?

Yes, and it leaves him wiiide open for Angel next season. I spoke to James Marsters at the show's wrap party on Saturday, and he says the final details are being worked out. Sounds like they're waiting for the official pickup before signing him to anything, which makes sense. But the storyline definitely lends itself to a Spike migration.

The script that I have seen makes it pretty clear that Spike dies.

So the question is, who is right.

Well, if we're to believe Joss in the next article, it would be the script.

The New York Post has an interview where Joss Whedon talks about spoilers, the internet, and alternate endings. It's an interesting read, but I'm not still not ready to completely buy the fact that there might not be any surprises left for the finale.

Because if there weren't the possibility for a surprise or two, then why can't I get a single independent confirm on the finale script from any of my regular sources. With the exception of Spike's sacrifice, which I have gotten some confirmation on, it's a bit too quiet for me to feel entirely assured that there isn't the chance that some 'snookering' might not be going on.
