Spin-Off Rumors, Odds And Ends

Willow The Wicca?

Dark Horizons is reporting that a spin-off centered around Willow could be a possibility for next season. However, they are dubious of this information (as am I).

Dubious Willow Rumour: Craft Christ heard from a 'reliable' source that UPN look set to do a "Willow" series for the 2004 TV season. Alyson Hannigan is apparently attached to play the character again. The studio decided to look into the idea, once the "Faith" spin-off idea bit the dust. It won't be happening instantly but he's told by the Fall they'll be rolling on something.
I'll keep my ear to the ground, but I wouldn't put much faith in this rumor at the moment.

Tidbits

I'm speculating, based on what has happened in the past, that we're going to be in for another gap for spoilers. The final run of episodes is pretty much kept on ice for the most part, and one normal source (location shoots) has been cut-off for now. That being said, usually when I say this we get another run of spoilage. But judging from past seasons, it's very iffy that we'll continue to see information based on entire shooting scripts.

Lots of fans have been asking about what will become of the site when the show ends. The Spoiler Slayer will continue to exist, and it's pretty much a given that if there is a spin-off, I'll continue to follow with that show. I haven't yet determined that if a spin-off doesn't surface immediately, if I will pick up and follow another show. It's all going to come down to if another show interests me as much as 'Buffy', and if I don't mind being spoiled about what's to come. Which pretty much leaves out everything I'm watching at the moment.

Finally, I've been getting a lot of mail about casting rumors for Caleb. I don't believe any of the things that I have heard so far, especially the rumor that he would be played by Sisqo (there's something that might actually get me to stop watching before the finale airs). I think it's safe to say that the way they are casting the character, it's not going to be through some kind of bizarre 'stunt casting'. At least that's what I'm hoping.
