Spoilers, Semi-Anniversary

Note: Moment's after I posted this update, I got the latest update from Wendy's Spoiler Zone in my Inbox. Which has summaries of Episodes 11-13. Buffy just started out where I am, so I'll include her news in the tomorrow's update. But since I was unable to provide a full summary for Episode 13, you can swing by Wendy's Spoiler Zone to check it out immediately.

Spoilers

Lot's of ground to cover today, I'm going to hopefully get this integrated into the Spoiler Slayer page at some point, but with New Buffy Tuesday I can't make any guarantees when that will be.

The main update today is going to be spoilage, as there are a lot of rumors and info flying around about Episode 13 - 'The Killer In Me'. Unfortunately, not much is being posted to public boards, and I want to respect the sources. So I'm unable to provide any links or full summaries myself until they surface elsewhere (or if one of those sources would be willing to provide me with one that can be posted, I'll be happy to put it up).

However, I did speak with one of my sources who passed along some rough info on Episode 14, which confirmed much of the events in Episode 13. While I had them on the phone, I managed to get their take on the spoilers that had been posted at Television Without Pity yesterday. Essentially they confirmed all of those spoilers, and passed along a bit more about episode 12 - 'Potential'.

Potential

Very little new information in the mix at this point. However, there is a major plot point that was revealed. Apparently, Dawn is not a potential SIT. The gang is mistaken in their assumption and in actuality it's another student of Sunnydale High who is a potential. There is no name that they could provide, but I'm presuming that this is the mysterious 'Amanda'

The Killer In Me

Much of the information that I have seen about this episode that is floating around seems to be right on the mark. Essentially, the plots are as follows.

Spike is having problems with his chip, which will lead to Buffy trying to get in touch with Riley for help. After not being able to get a response, she and Spike head off to the old Initiative Caves where eventually they bump into a squad from the Initiative who explain that Spike's chip is failing. Buffy has a choice, they can either remove the chip or replace it. As far as I know, there is no resolution in this episode

Meanwhile, the gang is alerted to the fact that Giles may not be who he seems. Which leads them out into the desert where Giles is on a retreat with the SIT's. Lots of touchy-feely, and we learn that Giles is not the First.

Not all of the SIT's are with Giles, as Kennedy has her sights set on Willow and makes some pretty bold moves. Willow's reaction is interesting to say the least, morphing into Warren and reenacting some of the events of last season. That may be partly due to some mischief from Amy, the former rat. But by episode's end, I would say that Willow/Kennedy has become a reality.

Episode Fourteen

Some of the info here has already come out in the 'Killer In Me' info or from other sources. I'm just repeating it again, because it does confirm the above events.

I've got just a little on the episode at this point, but my source called it Xander-centric. I don't have anything more than that at this point, except for that there might be a bit of mystery surrounding him. Meanwhile, Willow/Kennedy are definitely a couple (or at least that's the way the Scoobies are viewing them), and Giles brings another Slayer-In-Training, Chao-Ahn, into the mix (who is from Asia and doesn't speak much English). Giles is touching things at this point. Also, Buffy has her doubts about Principal Wood and 'The First' seems to be trying to find another way to get to the Scoobs (I don't have any info on Spike, but I think 'The First' has given up on him)

Overall, I'm pretty certain of all the above, though things are always subject to change. With any luck I'll have more details on Episode 14 before Christmas.

Holiday Traffic

On a fun note, it's been a year since I relaunched the site with new design. The reason that I mention it is because that's when I began tracking traffic to the Spoiler Slayer alone. In the past year, there has been over 8 MILLION page views. Considering that it's only five page site, that's pretty impressive. The site is visited on average by 20,000 people a day. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for making it such a popular site, and for supporting the page through the Amazon and CafePress purchases, donations, and the occasional wishlist item. It's through this support that I'm able to keep the site alive, and not go broke while doing it. Thank you, and hopefully we'll be around for some time to come.
