Not The Question I Would Have Asked, But...

Amber Benson and Stephanie Romanov (Lilah on Angel) did an appearance yesterday at a store in Santa Barbara. Xita, one of the head Kitten's at the Kitten Board, asked Amber point-blank about her future with the show.

So I asked her if that was it, if she was done with Buffy as an actress. She said that it was really hard. She didn't know. It really all up to Joss. You never know on the show, people die, people come back people get pregnant with Angel's baby. I joked with her about spreading spoilers then I asked her if she had any projects coming up. She said she didn't have anything that she was taking some time off to rest.

There have been other reports, from fans talking to Amber's mother, which sound more upbeat (as in "You won't be missing her for long"). At this point, the only safe bet would be that at least through the end of this season, it's unlikely that the Tara issue will be completely resolved.

BTW, if I had been there, I certainly would have cornered Stephanie and asked her the question that's been bugging me for years.

"Who was shot in the Models, Inc. finale?" Talk about unresolved cliffhangers!
