AM Update Steven DeKnight's posts

AM Update

Steven DeKnight's posts from the Bronze last night have been archived. Nothing spoilery.

BBOvenGuy did manage to swing by the Angel shoot for a Location Report, but nothing was happening at the scheduled Buffy shoot (nobody was there).

Excerpts from the Wedding sides have been making the rounds of some messageboards. Because of copyright issues, I don't want to post or link them here, nor will I respond to any requests via e-mail. More than a few boards have been deleting the threads anyway, so I don't know how long any link would be good.

Anyway, after actually seeing the sides, I'm more comfortable with the entire concept of the wedding episode. It comes off much differently in summary form than it does on paper. There are also numerous little bits that have been left out, but which you can pick up from the scripts. It would appear that there is a scene before the Spike and girlfriend scene, where Buffy is responding to Xander's comment about Spike bringing a date (and how funny that is). She also seems to be more than a little bothered for someone who shouldn't care. So it definitely looks as if the Buffy and Spike relationship is on the rocks as the Wedding gets under way. The Buffy/Xander scene (where she talks about missing her chance with him) is played off as a joke. In the end, this seems to be all about Xander and Anya.

I'm also no longer doubting the veracity of these sides, although they might go through some alteration before the episode actually airs. Wendy was the first with the information, so all the credit will go to the Spoiler Zone. I was waiting to hear back from her before I added them to the Spoiler Slayer page. There is a bit of Dawn, which some people wondered about. However, there isn't any sign of Tara in the scripts and it would appear that Halfrek (Anya's vengeance demon friend) will also be a maid-of-honor. It also would appear that 'Future Xander' isn't what he claims to be, it's 'evil-demon impersonating Xander' instead. All in all, it sounds like a very light-hearted romp. However, with all of the final act nowhere to be found, nobody can be sure what will happen next.

Extra Stuff

Vanessa, who runs one of the Eliza Dushku news sites, wrote with some further info on Faith returning.

It turns out that the Cinescape article (the one with David Greenwalt which said she would be returning to Angel this season), misquoted a TV Guide article. Which originally stated that they would love to have Christian, Eliza, or Elisabeth back on the show. Which kind of downgrades that rumor/speculation more. Plus, seeing how the Wedding is going, I don't see Faith making a return anytime soon either. The story arcs are moving away from the ones I expected might happen during the second half of the season.

Which means I'm not believing this next bit of spoilage, which actually was posted to this board from somewhere else. It's one of those friend of a friend of a friend posts.

Well, since I have already placed the Spoiler space, I may as well tell you a little secret. I have a aunt, Christine, 42 years old, who is France youngest consul,( we are all so proud of her), right know, she is in post in Arabia. She has a friend, Lise a consul too, posted in L.A, who she meet ten years ago, when they were both posted in Thailand, they weren't consul yet at that time. So this friend Lise, happened to be on the set where one of Buffy episode was shot because of some problems, with the I.D and passport of a few French technician recently arrived.

She saw Buffy crying on Faith's shoulder, who were holding tight the smaller slayer while whispering to her" I missed you too B."she couldn’t watch more, because of her busy schedule.
(She asked one of the technician for the names, because, well, she doesn't really have time for tv.) She quickly send an e-mail to my aunt, telling her the story( it is not every day you can assist the shooting of a TV show, even if you are consul) and, as my aunt know I am a BTVS fan, I bought myself the season 5 box sets from Amazon.co.cuk, she sent an e-mail to me, telling me the story.
