Spoiler Slayer

Slow news day, so I'll pass along some non-spoilery stories.

I've tried to answer every e-mail that I've received over the past day or so, but the number of them is pretty staggering. The majority of you, although you will miss them, agree that things were getting pretty bad in the comments section. There will probably be some alternative system put in, but it's getting pushed to the back burner so I can get other things done. There is however a number of e-mails (and comments made elsewhere) that I do feel the need to address. I'm still discovering that people think that I'm biased towards Spike for one reason or another. Well, if you've been paying attention, you would know that if I did have a preference it would be Buffy/Angel. You're completely wrong if you think I'm loving the Buffy/Spike relationship (though I have to admit, the banter is great). When I rank things, it's based on what direction the show and other confirmed spoilers seem to be leading I don't know what show you're watching, but pretty much every ranking I've made has been accurate. The anti-Spike people accused me of being biased when I said it was 'Likely' that Buffy and Spike would kiss, would sleep together, and would have a relationship. Has that not happened? The Buffy and Spike rumors are being ranked as 'Likely', because that's the direction the writers are going. Don't blame me for being biased, blame them for writing it that way.

Oops, one other thing.

I've been getting lots of people asking what I mean when I use the term Shipper. A Shipper is basically someone who favors a certain character pairing or relationship (or it could mean worshipper. Some have written me with that definition as well). So you have those who are Buffy/Angel shippers, and those who are Buffy/Spike shippers, and those who are Buffy/Xander shippers. Almost any combination is possible, and it doesn't necessarily apply to Buffy. For example, I guess you could call me an Archie/Katrina shipper, a Felicity/Noel shipper, and a Anya/Tensai shipper (I can see it already, I'm going to be considered biased against Xander because I'm jealous).
