Spoiler Slayer

These spoilers showed up last night. Since they weren't specifically Buffy-related, I didn't pass them along. I also doubt that they are accurate, anything that begins 'A friend of my cousin's'... Let's just say the first time one of those is correct, I'll eat my hat. But I doubt that in the first six shows, there will be that many cameos (and they aren't minor cameos). I also think that while dark, it doesn't exactly fit in with the quiet horror theme.

A friend of my cousin's, who works for the BBC has seen story outlines for the Giles spin-off show. Bear in mind these are only basic outlines and the scripts haven't been written yet - he says they are so the BBC can start casting and location scouting prior to shooting - so although these outlines are quite specific, certain may be changed. I'm only posting the 2 eps involving guest appearances by Buffy cast members:

- following traumatic events in Sunnydale, Willow and Tara accept an invitation from Giles to spend some time in a cottage in the English south coast. Giles is asked by an old friend from the Watcher's Council to investigate his daughter's disappearance and, together with Willlow and Tara, travels to a remote Cornish fishing village, where she apparently disappeared.There, Giles is reunited with an old flame from his Ripper days, as the trio discover the villagers are being terrorised by the ghosts of executed witches. Giles uncovers a centuries-old conspiracy of silence and races against time to rescue Willow and Tara from the clutches of a reincarnated Witchfinder General - notorious for his brutality to witches centuries ago.
But first, Giles and his ex-lover must discover which of the villagers is the culprit and all the while, a captured Willow and Tara suffer beatings and torture and must rely on each other to survive until Giles can reach them.

- Wesley returns to England to confront his father, only to discover he has been accused of murdering a fellow Watcher. Teaming up with Giles, the duo uncover an ancient mystery dating back to pre-Roman Britain and a pagan cult involved in human sacrifice. Realising Wesley's father may have stumbled upon a connection to a member of the Watcher's Council, they seek answers in an ancient Celtic hilltop fort haunted by the tormented souls of sacrificed girls. Together, Wesley and Giles set out to unravel the mystery, clear Wesley's father's name, and free the spirits from centuries of torment.
