that's what you call yourself
what you think you are
shame
overcomes you
sweeping you away from me
fear
of rejection
and loss
and loneliness

But know this
I love you with all my heart
love every part of you
the face that you call ugly
to me, is beautiful
because it holds your dear mouth
and eyes
and nose
because it is part of you
