SUMMARY: After suffering from visions that tell of a future without her mate, Buffy decides to try to beat fate at its own game. She urges Spike to leave home and take a job with a demon bounty hunting firm. Spike knowing of her increased psychic abilities decides to trust her and do as she requests. He is also hoping that being away from home will give him answers to questions he’s been too afraid to ask about himself.
