Für Oz sind Vollmondnächte gefährlich. Weil er als Werwolf keinen Schaden anrichten will, läßt er sich in der Bibliothek einschließen. Als am nächsten Morgen die Leiche eines Schülers gefunden wird, gerät Oz trotzdem in Verdacht. Auch Schulpsychologe Mr. Platt wird getötet. Buffy erfährt, daß der eifersüchtige Pete seine Freundin Debbie mit einem besonderen Trank beeindrucken wollte. Doch dieser Trank hatte eine schreckliche Wirkung: Petes Persönlichkeit veränderte sich.
