- Bottom to Top: The BUFFY Episode Countdown
Note: Someone said "i would think you hated this show" in the previous segment. Perhaps
you should read the disclaimer on Part 1 before you make comments like that, douchebag. Smoochies.
Everyone ends up in their worst nightmares. Buffy is a vampire, Giles can't read, Xander is attacked
by a birthday clown, Willow has to sing opera, Cordy is apart of the chess team, and some dude named
Wendell who we'll never see again sees a bunch of spiders. Oh, that Wendell. What a pop culture icon. This
was alright, I guess. It's a Season 1 episode, so you can pretty much guess it's a little crappy. There
are some funny moments.
I hate Veruca. I really do. She's a bitch. Yes, I know that's what Joss wanted us to do....hate Veruca. But
this episode is so low because of that. She's irritating, and she pretty well breaks up one of the best couples
in television history, in my opinion. Sure she dies at the end, but a little too late. Oz leaves, and we get
a REALLY emotional break-up scene. Not bad again, just ARGH. I'd forgive Seth, but I just saw "Without a Paddle"
and now I really can't forgive him.
Nothing like watching Spike have sex with the air. NOPE....WRONG....it's Buffy! And she's invisible! Like Marcy,
except unintentional. The nerd trio invisi-rayed her. Willow gets her back in the end, but not before we
have to sit through her being a total bitch to a social worker, and having "hey that's what they're doing! OH! NAUGHTY!"
stuff with Spike. It's the type of episode that you wouldn't mind having a root canal the day it aired, as
long as it was scheduled in that hour. On second thought, why isn't this lower?
Yeah, it's this low. Wood had every right to do what he did. It's a fact. If my mom had been killed by someone,
and I knew who that someone was, he'd be dead. And I don't mean Vampire-dead, I would kill him. Simple as
that. So for Wood to try and lure Spike to that room and pummel him to death, I get that. Regardless of the
bullshit reasoning Spike gave at the end of the episode. And don't get me started on Buffy here, who is a total
hypocrite. Spike may have been being brainwashed by the First into killing all of those people, but he wasn't
when he killed half of europe. Trust me when I say, he's done enough over the years to deserve to die. And the
ending scene where Buffy closes the door on Giles made me want to spank her.
This was a very odd episode that had to follow-up the outstanding "Hush". If you watch it a couple times,
you'll notice scenes that are poorly edited and overdubbed. Including a very strange overdub of Giles
talking to Buffy, like Tony had a sore throat that day so they had to have him read his lines over again
in post-production. It's all very strange looking. Plus we get a totally ho-hum apocalypse. Sure the Spike
parts where he goes from trying to kill himself, to realizing he can fight demons is hillarious, but the
rest makes this mediocore at best.
Angelus5150: "EriatarkaESP: Oh come on! The only implied oral sex in the entire series" ...there was an episode in S5 where the buffy-bot is..umm...doing the deed when Xander barges into his crypt. Lurker: How could you miss the fact that in Nightmares they let Buffy-vamp be in the sun all the time? SO annoying!! Atalanta: The first three on this page I agree with, but not the other two. Lies My Parents Told Me isn't a favourite episode, but it does deserve to be a bit higher. And your comments on Spike deserving to die - no, he doesn't. He didn't have a soul when he killed those people; now he does, making him basically a different person. And I liked Doomed too, its a fun episode. UnpluggedCrazy: Gone is above Wild at Heart?! We ARE talking about the same Gone, right?! God, I hated Gone. Felt like an episode of that tenth-rate pile of crap Charmed. Whereas Wild at Heart had a lot of emotion and worked insanely well at making me cry. A man should never admit to crying at Buffy, but I just did. Damn it. And Lies My Parents Told Me was fuckin' great, man...Wood was pretty much an asshole anyway, so I sided with Spike. EriatarkaESP: Oh come on! The only implied oral sex in the entire series, and you fail to put "Gone" in the top 50?!? Outrageous! Matt: My comments aren't made to be negative for the sake of being negative. They're negative for the attempt at trying to make people laugh, or chuckle slightly. It's always been that way. If you want a serious countdown or a serious article, go to some boring buffy general site that has a stick up it's ass. Cause you won't get that here. Matt: Normally I don't respond to comments that question my negativity, mainly for the simple fact that if you read this website on a daily basis you would know that we are an entertainment-based parody/satire site.(cont..) SpikeGirl: You realy should not blame people for thinking that you hate the show. After all you have discuss 44 plus ep. and there have been nothing but negetive comment. That's alot of ep. The placements of the episodes are not the problem whether I agreed or not, it's how hostile the comments are. Lurker: thank you for this suck list

- gosh this list sucks demon ass angelus: i still have yet to decide whether or not i hate 'lmptm'. i think the only bad thing about it was the whole subplot about spike siring his mother, which was horrible. i loved the rest of the episode, but that almost ruined it.
