(Kate looks out the window of her office, Angel's bite mark visible on her neck. She covers it with a hand, and we see her memory of what happened. Angel sunk his teeth into her neck, turning while he drank so she could see over his shoulder that Ugly has his gun trained on her.)

ANGEL: (whispering in her ear) Stay down or they'll kill you.

(He let go of her and she looked up at his bloody vamp-face for a moment, then shut her eyes. He turned and chuckled as Ugly lowered his gun. Her head rolled to the side and the memory ended, returning to her office in the present.)
