Cordelia to Angel: I wish it would stop hurting from Dead End (Season 2) | Next Clip in Episode |
(Cordy is cleaning)
ANGEL: Hey. Boy, I mean, you could see your reflection in that glass. Well, I mean, I couldn't because of the whole vampire situation, but a normal person? (whistles)
CORDELIA: What do you want?
ANGEL: We need help. We're not getting anywhere.
CORDELIA: I'm sorry. He's probably dead by now.
ANGEL: We don't know that for sure. There could be others.
CORDELIA: I wish it would stop hurting. What do you want me to do?
ANGEL: I'm not exactly sure. Maybe you can - look again? You know, inside.
CORDELIA: That's all I've been doing - all day. A guy in a kitchen. A normal guy. - And he picks up a knife and... Oh, god. I think he had kids.
ANGEL: How do you know that?
CORDELIA: Cereal bowls - on the table, and, uhm, there was a book bag. It has a name of a school on it. Ah, D-something. Delaney, or, uh... Delancy Schools.
ANGEL: That's good. That's great. Anything else?
CORDELIA: I just keep seeing it.
ANGEL: Okay. Get some rest. Wesley and Gunn'll look into it first thing in the morning. Can I get you anything?
CORDELIA: *Why* does everyone keep asking me that?!
ANGEL: No reason.
