(Angel finds Holland's wife, bleeding on the floor. From inside the threshold she struggles to speak)
CATHERINE: (weakly) Help us.
(downstairs, Dru senses Angel's arrival)
DRUSILLA: Daddy's home.
(Angel walks down the steps to the cellar, stops outside the open door to the former bomb shelter.)
DARLA: Angelus. Here for the tasting?
DRUSILLA: Look what we have for you. (Angel doesn't react) It's not Daddy. It's never Daddy. (Hisses at him) It's the Angel-beast.
DARLA: Come to punish us?
DRUSILLA: Yeah, yeah.Spank us till Tuesday (growls) We promise to be bad if you do.
HOLLAND: Angel....
ANGEL: (to Darla) I'm sorry I didn't get to you in time.
DARLA: I'm not.
DRUSILLA: He's soul-sick. Not even thinking about his own family. Only thinking about them.
DARLA: (To Angel) Come on, love. I never did get that good-bye kiss.
ANGEL: You will. But not tonight.
