(Spike enters the lab, but Fred's not there)

SPIKE: Never a fetching mad scientist about when you need one. Whatever you're cobbling together, pet, I think you better hurry it along.

(notices a light flickering, sees something out of the corner of his eye)

SPIKE: Done chopping your feelers off in the basement? Floating upstairs for a few chuckles now?

(further on, another light blinks)

SPIKE: Right. Vampire ghost here, ya sod. Bloody well invented afraid of the dark.

(hall lights flicker on, leading him on)

SPIKE: Bugger this. I'm not playing follow the blinking light for the rest of the— (he hears a woman crying) All right. Lured me here with the creepshow. Now what?

(a woman in cap'n'apron, with no arms, stands up in front of him)

ARMLESS GHOST WOMAN: Please...hold me... Hold me, please. It's coming.

(she dissappears)
