(Wes is bundling Connor into his car when Justine, looking severely beaten, stumbles towards him. Still holding Connor with his left arm, he pulls a gun with his right and aims it at Justine.)

WESLEY: That's close enough. Justine?

JUSTINE: (crying) He's everything you said. - It's true.

(Wes slowly lowers his gun and steps closer.)

WESLEY: What happened?

JUSTINE: Well - he didn't keep his word.

(Wes puts away the gun)

JUSTINE: He took everybody - and he went after the baby. And when I questioned him... Bastard! I'll kill him for this. You have to get out of here.

(Justine falls against Wes.)

WESLEY: You have to get to hospital.

JUSTINE: No. I just...

(suddenly, she pulls out a knife and slices it across Wes' neck; she snatches Connor from Wes as he falls, and steals his car as he watches, helpless and bleeding to death)
