(resume. Kakistos grabs Faith.)

FAITH: No!

(Buffy gets her away, gets the door closed.)

BUFFY: I just bought us a little more...

(Kakistos punches through the door and tries to reach for Buffy.)

BUFFY: ...time!

FAITH: (panics and screams) NO! NOOOOO!

BUFFY: Scream later! Escape now!

(breaks through bathroom window)

BUFFY: Let's go!

(They run, end up hiding in a warehouse)

BUFFY: We're okay. What happened? Faith, what happened?

FAITH: (frightened) I... I was *there* when he killed my Watcher, and I saw what he did to her... what he was gonna do to me. I tried to stop him, but I... I couldn't. And I ran.

BUFFY: Faith, first rule of slaying: don't die. You did the right thing. Okay? You didn't die. Now you do the math. One of him, two of us.

FAITH: No.

BUFFY: Yes.

FAITH: (panicky) No. (indicates dead bodies) This is his place.

BUFFY: He drove us here.

(vampires burst in, fight ensues. Kakistos is bearing down on Faith.)

BUFFY: Faith! Don't die!

(she throws Faith a crowbar. But she doesn't get a chance to use it. Kakistos picks her up.)

FAITH: NO!

(Buffy is busy fighting other vamps, doing well)
