(Angel is walking though the lobby toward his office when he hears a familiar voice behind him.)
CONNOR :Hey, dad!
(Angel turns in shock. Fade to black, credits, resume)
ANGEL: What-- What are you--
(Naturally, Connor is calling out to the man from earlier, whom he sees over Angel's shoulder)
CONNOR: Dad?
DAD: Yeah, it's OK. Come on over.
CONNOR: You know, they have dried scorpions in the vending machines downstairs.
(Wesley spots Angel)
WESLEY: Angel, good. This is Laurence and Colleen Reilly, and this is their son--
CONNOR: (offers his hand) Connor.
(he shakes hands with Angel)
CONNOR: Hi. Nice to meet you.
WESLEY: The Reillys need to talk about some issues regarding Connor here, and I thought we could--
ANGEL: No.
WESLEY: What?
ANGEL: I'm sorry. There must be some mistake. We can't help you.
(walks away)
