(They go down some stairs. Shot of the demon, which looks like a huge lizardy thing sleeping on a pile of rocks. )

DAWN: It doesn't look so bad.

SPIKE: Wait till it wakes up. That's usually when the bad starts.

DAWN: I can't get to the eggs unless it moves. No way.

SPIKE: I'll make it move. You just be ready. Hey! Gora, heads up! (3 heads rear up) Right, heads it is.

Over here triptych! That's the best you got? Dawn! hey, get away from her!

DAWN: Spike, come on! (drops egg)

SPIKE: Leave it Dawn.

DAWN: No, I can't, mom...

SPIKE: It's too dangerous, and I haven't got a...(she runs back) WEAPON! (fights the demon, gets chomped)

DAWN: Spike! I'm sorry!

SPIKE: Did you get it? Don't be sorry then.

(He goes up the stairs, pulling her after him as the demon's noises fade away. )
