TAY: Watch its hands.

TAY: Why does it speak when no one listens?

GI: No! No!

TAY: (to others) It has been recovered.

GI: Let me go!

(One of the Vigories hands Tay a pair of strange-looking pliers. Tay goes to clip off the ridges protruding along her neck and upper back.)

TAY: It will now be restored.

GI: You bastards. No!

TAY: You'll feel *so* much better after this.

(Tay clips off the first ridge and Gi screams.)
