(Angel slams a guy down on a table.)

GUY 1: He left for the club.

(Angel smashes a different guy up against the wall with his hand around his throat.)

GUY 2: Try the game.

(Angel slams Manny the Pig down on a poker table, then grabs him by the throat and lifts him off his feet. Three other guys draw their guns and point them at Angel.)

MANNY: (to his men) Put them down. (They lower the guns; to Angel) He?ll kill me if I talk.

ANGEL: How healthy do you think it is to stay quiet?

MANNY: He?s out back.

(Angel comes out the back door. He follows sounds of feeding and whimpering to find Spike drinking from a girl.)

ANGEL: Let her go.

SPIKE: Did anyone ever tell you you were a hell of a buzz-kill, mate?

ANGEL: (to the girl) Run.

(Angel runs after Spike. Spike comes up against a chain fence at the end of the alley.)

SPIKE: Caught me fair and square, White Hat. I guess there is nothing to do now but to go along quietly and pay my debt to society.

ANGEL: You think you can come to my town and pull this crap? You never learn, Spike.

SPIKE: I may be a slow learner, but...

(A guy in white, Marcus, whips a chain around Angel?s neck and drags him to the ground.)

SPIKE: Eventually I catch on.
